What is Martin Luther King Drive in your city like?

Since by now many major cities have created or changed a street to Martin Luther King Drive and I have drove through many and some are very sketchy, a few cute ones and some are just industrial neighborhoods that surround this street.
What is the Martin Luther King Drive like in the cities near you?
Should that represent his vision or accomplishments?
Do some of them abbreviate his name to MLK Drive?

It's abbreviated MLK drive in Atlanta. As far as I know, it's not too sketchy (compared to other parts of ATL). It's really used as like.. a direction point because everyone knows where it is.

as Chris Rock says, "I don't care where you live in America, if you're on Martin Luther King Boulevard, there's some violence going on. If you find yourself on 'Martin Luther King Boulevard', run!"
most MLK streets I've been on (and I've been on quite a few) are pretty shady indeed. But none of the 4-5 cities i would consider my 'area' have a street named after MLK

Buffalo doesn't have a drive, but does have a Martin Luther King Park and school.
No, it's not in the best part of town. It is in a part of town where a park is needed though and the attached Martin Luther King Science Magnet School is one of the better schools in Buffalo and gives youth from the inner-city a chance to get into college on an even footing with kids from the suburbs. I think Doctor King would be proud.
