Do you know what ANWR is?

"For anyone interested in a little truthiness..."

Tammy Bruce: Do You Know What ANWR Is?

My thoughts:
I dont believe drilling will have any impact on the price of oil, long or short term. The oil companies that extract the oil will sell it at the world price for a barrel of oil and not a penny less. The amount will be a small percentage of world supply which the major oil producing countrie will decrease their supply to keep the price up. Maybe we should start listening to T. Boone, " we've hit peak oil and we aint drilling our way out of this problem "

It's a temporary solution at best. Ultimately we'll need new technology to solve the oil crisis. In the short-term though, it makes sense to allow some limited drilling. The environmental impact can be minimized, it provides jobs here, and it's money that's not going to Al Qaeda, Iran and FARC (via Venezuela) to buy weapons to use against us.
