[10/24] [Very Reina] Tanaka Reina 7th Photobook [+Real Challenge!! 10/29]

I'm kinda disappointed with the DVD. I was expecting more active stuff. There were some fun moments and she looks pretty and all, but still..

Aw well, at least the PB will be killer.

BIG SPOILER! FOR THOSE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE SPOILED DON'T READ

Summary of Real Challenger!! (For those who wants to be spoiled.)
*Below is a summary of what Reina said and did in the DVD. This does not include the commentary, this post is already long enough.....save the commentary for the subs, if there's ever one~

Day 1: (Photo shoot location: Sapporo)

Black dress
It's the location photo shoot for the photobook in the really long black "dress". Reina says Hokkaido is a place they (Morning Musume) have never had a concert at, and she plans to eat a lot of seafood there.

White+Orange outfit
There are lots of pink outfits this time, because it's Reina current favorite color. She didn't eat breakfast? that morning, so she has less energy than usually, but she'll still do her best. When she came out behind that board, she said Shitsureina (Shitsureishitmasu [Excuse me] + Reina), she's always trying to make up her own catch phrases.

Beach - Red checker bikini
Reina is really into pink lately, so she chose that bikini.

Purple bikini
She says she wears purple a lot. All the clothes this time are chosen by herself. Not like the usual one piece dress and stuff, so it's like her collection, "The Reina". The staffs interrupts Reina to tell her that they forgot to tell her something.....since they've come all the way to Hokkaido, they have a special plan. Reina is handed a map of Hokkaido and she has to remember the names of 34 towns in Hokkaido. Reina is not that good with kanji.....or geography..... The staffs tell her to ask the locals if she can't read the town names on the map. Reina thinks that's embarrassing and considers asking her mom.

TIME UNTIL TEST, 45 HOURS

Day 2: (Photo shoot location: Otaru)

Punk outfit
It's hot today, and Reina thinks it doesn't feel like what she images Hokkaido to be. The staffs ask her if she did any studying? Her reply, "HAHA, I for...uh oh, I forgot about it. I didn't even look at it. But I watched the news this morning, Tokachi, is that one? Tokachi." (Tokachi is not even a town.) She's handed the map again and she starts reading off it randomly. Suddenly, she comes up with a plan, she decides to remember the names in alphabetical order (ie: A I U E O). She's confident she'll succeed, and she is pretty proud of herself for being able to read the kanji. Then she says often in games and on TV, you see people just look at a sheet of paper and remembers all the details on it, like photographic memory, she's gonna try and do that........ The staff then tells her, the list is already in alphabetical order. Reina now is even more confused and X fills the screen. She gives up as she's called to begin the photo shoot.

Reina reminds us she's really pumped up this time because she gets to chose the outfits instead of wearing those boring 1 piece dress that she doesn't like.

TIME UNTIL TEST, 32 HOURS

Pink ranger outfit
Reina thinks this outfit makes her look like a motorcycle racing driver, just kidding. She whines about the long incline to go up to the photo shoot location, after only walking a short distance. Near the top, she says she's so tired, she can't talk anymore. At the top, she say one thing she's trying very hard at the moment is, her battle against bugs.

Leopard pattern outfit
She's still complaining about there being too many bugs. When asked about the test....well, she forgot about it again, and complains about the kanji.

The list of 34 Hokkaido town is shown to the viewer with Reina in cow girlish outfit as background.

TIME UNTIL TEST, 23 HOURS

The next morning (Day 3)
"YAPPI! Good morning! This is Tanaka Reina. Where are we right now? (Turns around to look at the sign.) Um, I can't read it hahahaha."

Reina's special seafood bowl
She's given a bow of rice and goes into the fish market to collect toppings from vendors. Crab seems to be one of Reina's favorite seafood, as she gets a lot of it. The old ladies in the market says Reina's boots are really cute. She sees there's Whale bacon for sale and mention Tsunku-san likes to eat it.

Afterward, she sits down in one of the stores and eats the bowl. She mentioned on day 1 that she was looking for crab meat but didn't get a chance to, so now she gets some. As Reina is trying to enjoy her crab meat, a staff hands her the paper for the test again but she flips it down on the table like she never saw it. (She doesn't seem like she's the studying type.) The staffs remind her there's only 6 hours left until the test. Reina is still complaining about the kanji. The staffs tell her that's too bad.... Reina ask why. She's told there's a penalty game if she fails to remember the list of towns, it's something she really has trouble with. She thinks it's to eat something she doesn't like.... yeah, not that easy. The penalty is to clean up where cows live. Reina ask if there's a lot of cow xxxx..... (obviously). She doesn't even want to see it, let alone say it.

Finally, she gets serious and begins studying. The store's old lady suddenly pops out of no where and start helping Reina. She even says, "Poor girl". Reina is still all over the place with the kanji.

TIME UNTIL TEST, 5 HOURS

Reina's special curry rice
Reina heads to a local market and buys some vegetables. She doesn't think she needs a lot of carrots, but it's sold in bunches, so she takes it anyways. Broccoli is one of her favorite, so she takes some too. Reina finds out from the cashier that all the veges are locally grown.

During her break time, Reina studies hard to not fail the test. She reveal to the staffs that she really really REALLY doesn't want to do the penalty game, and has no choice but to remember hard for the test.

TIME UNTIL TEST, 4 HOURS

At a farm, going to cook the curry
(Actually, she'd rather study for the test, but has no choice but to do this segment for the DVD.)
She cuts the asparagus in big chunks, wonders if it's too big and if she should shave off the sides, but ends up not giving a damn and just leaves it. Moving on to potato, which is another one of her favorites. Reina says at her house, there's no ingredients in the curry....ok, not really, more like her mom cuts things up so small, it's like there's nothing. Not that her mom's curry is not good, but she prefer the one she ate in elementary school. Reina wants to become someone who can cook well in the future, don't you think she can? Reina cuts some onion. She mess up saying the word "soak" and freaks. Then she ask if you should cut onion soak in water, which the staffs reply with a "yes you should". But she's almost done cutting and yells at them, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER!" Now she prepares to heat up the pan and prep it with oil but nothing comes out.....she didn't even open the inside cap of the bottle of oil. Then she ask how much she should cook the meat. Not all the way, the staff says. A kitty suddenly shows up and Reina wants to feed it, but has nothing the kitty can have at the moment. As she's waiting for the pot to heat up, Reina tries to do some studying. Back to cooking, she says this is like being at a camp (In Japan, when people go camping, especially on school organized camping trips, making curry is a must.) Reina is proud of her cooking, looks into the camera and thinks she'll become a good house wife in the future....."Sorry Reina is being gross, hehe".

Reina's special butter
The instructor tells Reina to pour all the milk into the container, but instead, she pours in all over her hand. And so she begins to manual crank the contraption to make butter. Reina ask the instructor lady if it really takes 20minute of non-stop cranking to make butter (Yes, it does). Right away, she tries to flick the handle of the crank hoping it'll spin on its own to avoid manual labor. When that fails, she declares, she's already sick of this. After a lot of spinning, the butter starts to form and it becomes hard to crank. They open it up and sees it complete. Reina thinks it looks like ice cream. Then Reina mix some salt into the butter because it doesn't have enough flavor if this step is not done.

Reina's special sausages
She ask the instructor if there's any pepper in the meat, and they've already prepared some for her and mix it in. Then the instructor ask her what she thinks the sausage skin is made from the intestine of what animal. Reina's guesses are in this order: Birds, Camels, Ostriches, Bears, Dogs, Ducks, Swans, Sheep. Correct answer is sheep. Then she LOL with the instructor about the word "Chou (Very)". She's then taught how to insert the intestine into the machine and to catch it when the meat comes out. There are air bubbles in the finish product, but it's fine.

Lunch time
Reina eats a meal of everything she made herself. This is her first time making curry all by herself, and she's proud of it. More "Chou" LOL. She's glad she got to go to Hokkaido.

TIME UNTIL TEST, 1 HOUR

On the bus, going to the test location
3 days of photo shoot is over. Reina is trying to hard to remember the 34 town names. The staffs remind her that even with 1 miss, she has to do the penalty game. Reina replies there's no way she's doing clean up for cows. The staffs then make Reina lose concentration by asking if she knows how many prefectures are in Japan. So she randomly guess some numbers. Reina says she doesn't know all of them but she knows all 7 of Kyushu (The island where Fukuoka, her home town is). As she tries to confirm with the staffs, they're all quiet, Reina becomes cocky and says, "So that means no one knows eh?". Then she begins to name them and gets 6 out of 7 right off the start. It takes her another 3 minute and a bunch of hints before she can name the missing one, Nagasaki. Then she confuses herself about where Shikoku (Another island of Japan) is, she thinks it's in China. (Yeah, she's this bad at geography.)

Arrive at test location. TIME UNTIL TEST, 0 HOURS
On a field in the middle of nowhere, placed a small school desk. Reina is nervous and really don't want to do the penalty game. The staff ask what last words she has to say. "To those who thinks I can't do it and thinks I'm dumb, I'll gonna prove you wrong! hahaha". (Stop reading now if you don't want to know if she did it or not.)

Of course she nails it! No way they can make her clean cow droppings.
As she's celebrating, a huge bug appears, and she runs off screen asking for help.
Reina thinks she probably won't change the way she is until she's 20. She's always trying to be cute, pretty and sexy. She's gonna push on like this, please continue to support her.

I think the challenge they give in the DVD was unnecessary and boring if I'm not mistaken she had to memorize the town names, right? so boooring~ even she didn't look that enthusiastic about it.

all the other parts were fun though especially when she eats... I just need to download H!F's subbed version now, as soon as I can free up some disc space
