That's not only the maido arii set but it's their standard backdrop for the girls to gather to do special filming like graduations, H!M recap specials etc. So that does not mean that maido arii will be coming back soon. I wouldn't want it either because i want Eri to feature in new HPC-like news corner than to bring back old characters.

And cutting down the program to 30 mins doesn't necessarily signal the end of news corners as they had in since the 30 mins days.

As someone else pointed out, the news corner and performances are practically the entire reason that Hello! Morning exists. Without the opportunity to plug and promote new Hello! Project-oriented goods and tours, there is no reason for UFA to continue putting on a show at all.

The bottom line is that Hello! Morning is first and foremost a means to promote the girls and sell more product. All the fun and hilarity, while serving to draw all of us in, is almost incidental.

That sounds pretty cynical, but really, every show on television (with the exception of public broadcasting) is designed to make money, either through ad revenue or direct promotion.

Today's episode was freaking GOLD! Definitely one of my favorite all-time episodes.

lol @ Extreme Ironing. Is there anything Miki-sama can't do? Well, except for keeping her opinions to herself. Too bad the hobby hunting corner had to go already...

does anybody miss pinkie? lol i didn't find pinkie particuarly appealing.... but without her doing the body shake... it's just different. no one can quite do it like koharu~!

Definitely missed her ... and she was gone for all the later episodes of HPC too!

Her spastic thrashing was classic!! Risa just looked so awkward doing it.

Looking forward to return of the Gooch!!

hopefully she'll give H!M way more energy and crazyness.

Today's ep was pretty amusing

I cracked up so bad at Eri's crumbling crepe

Too bad hpc ended though...I mean pinkie only got to be on like 3 times? I hope the new 30 minutes h!m will have a good segment as the replacement then.
