The lady detective was really good!  I like her analysis of the members' personalities.

Anyone could explain a bit what she analysed when they look above or aside? Or when they should pretend that they are waiting?!

I'll give it a try, but my japanese level is really low, so it'll probably be full of mistakes. Here it goes anyways:

Reina's waiting pose: she doesn't really listen to what people say because she has a strong personality and high pride, which makes her stubborn. Didn't get what gestures made her think so at all, sorry. I think the detective said she wasn't sure if Reina would be good at lying but she said she was.
Ai-chan's waiting pose: she's the toughest one, she's hard to understand and she doesn't let her feelings out easily(Ai-chan said this last thing herself). Not very sure of this, though.

Looking at sides thing:
Roughly said, looking at the right side while saying the answer means you're lying and looking at the left side means you're not. She asked them what they ate the day before yesterday. Koharu and Mitsui thought hard and said what they really ate, but Sayu wasn't sure if what she said was right.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

They've expanded the 'guess if it's real segment' for the entire show. I liked it better when they went outside but perhaps it's too hot in Tokyo. In the next episode, it looks they do some computer art and animation. Designing idolm@ster type games possibly...

ah I'll explain this part a little more.  The lady asked them what did they eat the day before yesterday.  Sayu answered first but she looked to the right before she answered and then koha and mitsui answered the same, since they ate together before the taping of haromoni (but instead of looking to the right they looked to the left).  According to the lady Sayu remembered what she ate but she was pretending like she was thinking it over and was hesitant to answer.  Sayu agreed, saying she had to think over whether it's okay or not to say what she ate on air   The lady said the other two were really trying hard to remember what they ate, hence their answer is more honest.

? isn't 'remember' and 'recall (that what you remember)' the same?

In Sayu's case it was more the 'should I lye or not' that showed.

Yes, "remember" and "recall" are the same, but "trying to recall" isn't.

Koharu and Aika were "trying to recall" what they ate, but Sayu remembered outright.  She just didn't know whether she should be truthful or not, thus the looking to the right.

I think this must be the first time I've come to give my review of it before anyone's even thrown up a teaser.

I liked this weeks episode!
It wasn't as game like as the old H!M episodes so if you were looking for that don't think that. If anything it is truly a giant varied version of the Usotsuki queen segment. Trying to trick the two guys into thinking what they have is from their hometown, but doing it in Natsuyasumi yukata fashion!

-There is a cuteness explosion all around everywhere I can't stress how adorable they all look in yukata with their hair up/varied.
-Tomato curry looks a lot like chili, I wonder how the taste varies....
-The show made me rather hungry... I really wanted to try each of the food items...
-Chun didn't speak much again, I'm guessing she's still rather shy about her language, since they made China one hometown area, Chun and Lin were paired together for comfort. Chun's usually wakarimasen came into play again and it was funny.
-The random use of english music still makes me smile somewhat cause of the randomness.
-The preview for next week makes me laugh cause I heard about that game thing from a classmate for class.... freaky stuff...lol

Ya know after that it would just seem perfect to have had a skit plugged in there if the show was longer...lol
but eh... It's just me missing the old stuff.

Also it seems next week we got Risa, Eri, Lin, and Chun time again... I wonder if that means Ai, Reina, Sayu, Koha, and Aika are gonna be doing usotsuki queen again... or perhaps another chibikko king?... or maybe they won't appear *shock*... guessing what might happen next week always makes me want to see it right away

It's a very relaxing week for HM@ I think, if you don't like being relaxed and trying to figure out the liar while admiring the cuteness... then maybe this week won't be in your top 10...><

What I think shows is that some effort went into planning this (and recent) episodes. The mix of items was well chosen, the real ones being no more offbeat than the fakes.

I want a maneki fuku!

RinJun are cute together but I hope they won't always be automatically paired up so their individual personalities can emerge even more. Junjun might be especially interesting to watch as her nihongo improves and her confidence along with it. There could be a really interesting person under that currently rather quiet exterior. Rinrin is already captivating to watch even when she's just in the background of a shot.

The music choices lately are hilarious. Bay city rollers! A cover of country roads....

Haromoni@ is making my sundays fun again and it's a good sign if we find ourselves wishing the episodes were longer.

hehe ya I've been wishing for longer episodes more lately... but I don't think we'll get that anytime soon ><, if so let the angelic chorus sing!

I think Chun's already shown a lot of her greatness, though there is soooo much more... her reactions... in the eraser place and her insistance of eri's kat koala just show that...

Only thing is there isn't as much material to make funny gifs with this week I think....

I didn't like this week's episode.

- First, I don't like japanese comedians much and I hate it when they do one of those gags and the rest of people have to pretend they find it funny(btw, I bet JunJun and LinLin didn't get half of the gags).

- Second, I kept getting the feeling they were in the middle of a studio's corridor or something.

- Third, I think the game was boring, too didactic for my taste xD

The positive point was(and has been since they've been in the show) that LinLin seems to be trying hard to show some personality and make the show more funny. I think JunJun is also making a big effort but she seems more shy than LinLin, who already has some experience in TV, so it's harder for her. Can't say the same about Aika though, I like the girl and all but she just needs to ignore a little the etiquette and be more cheeky.

To explain more about the psychology test from last week.
Situation: You are waiting for someone at a meeting point

Reina: "I'm the one that keeps people waiting, I've never waited for someone before."LOL!
When you're waiting for someone, it's normal to cross your legs but her legs never budged from that position. To not recross your legs(or fidget) means you are stubborn. This type of person can be a good liar.　She told Tanaka, "you're not the one to look away when there's a staring match." Reina agreed with the statement.

Takahashi: She is the hardest to get the handle on. She asks the members if they have problems to understand her. Reina said that there are days like that. Aichan said she doesn't show her feeling but Sayumi was saying it shows on her face. sign says, "which is it?!" Someone like Aichan who keeps looking around restlessly, has some uneasiness about something and tries to feel more at ease by trying to gather info from around her. Therefore, it is expected in the situation that she has to lie, she also feel this unease.　For this reason, that will show in the acting she has to do with the pickled plum.　She is a person who is honest.
