I loved today's A-to thing! Eri is so damn cute when she's desperate. Everything got so banged up, including that poor calligraphy piece! Yeah, her "mom" was so nice! Hugging her like Eri was her own kid, so cute! I felt bad for her too because her wrist was hurting from holding that tray.

I agree. The making of parts are the funniest. Also, in general GakiKame is always lovely to watch

I'm not sure I understand how that was a gag. Or was it just a batsu game?
Whatever it was, it was soooo hilarious! I watched it over and over and over. Her face was so cute when she did it!

actually if you read the Japanese during that segment it means "one shot performace"
So technically the girls can do a gag or some weird thing, as long as it is one take.
So for Ai-chan, her "no No NO!" doesn't have to be a gag, but it was so weird that made everyone laughed.

I just had a Haromoni@ marathon catching up from the beginning of June (I can't believe I didn't watch for so long, time sure flies these days)

It would be awesome if they would release a DVD of just the GakiKame A~to Segments (and the making of's of course) I would so buy it

But the memory battle is getting old, I find myself tempted to skip but then I fear I might miss a cute/funny moment  but it made me like Aika a lot more.

And yay for Reina speaking up on her radio show.

どうやら９月いっぱいでハロモニ＠終了するようですね。
後枠は何かまだわからないみたいなのでリニューアルの可能性もありますが
最近は視聴率も１％台がほとんどと低迷してましたのでどうなることでしょうか。
約８年半と女性アイドルの番組としては
破格の長期間続いただけでも凄いことですけどね。

ベリキューのほうはハロプロ枠自体の存続は決定しているようですが
出演者や内容は未定のようです。
ハロモニ枠終了でも深夜枠はベリキューまのえりに小春ちゃんを加えて
ハロプロ新世代だけの番組をキープしてもらいたいです。

最近れいなはハロモニの入り時間が遅いんですよ

I'm too lazy to do a line-by-line translation, but the gists are as follows. ampedechoz's post is a collection of comments from Nakano and Ryoukaku. Nakano was the only director brought over from the previous incarnation of Hello! Morning. Ryoukaku is ... some guy ... who I think has worked on some H!P shows like Musume Dokyu! etc.

Nakano said that TV Tokyo was using Haromoni@ as a training ground for new staff (directors, producers, etc.) The original idea was that they'd do the shows on a rotating basis and when Nakano's turn came around, the newbies could look at what he did and learn from it. But management didn't allow Nakano to give the newbies feedback directly, telling him instead to wait for them to realize things on their own. He also said he wanted to keep Hello! Pro Channel (the news corner). Nakano left Haromoni@ after about three months, which is about the time when they switched away from the wandering-around-town format to the studio/games format. As for Ryoukaku's comments, they were along the lines of "Haromoni@ sucks, let me do it" and that the show setup of just wandering around without a script was a killer for any comedian (i.e. Akachin). Eh, there was probably some more to this, but the post is too far back so I can't see it in the Topic review. :razz:


As for junkang's post, that looks like a rant from Reina on her radio show. She starts off by saying that lately she's been getting into Haromoni@ recordings pretty late, and although that's enjoyable at the time, it's actually a bad thing because it means she's not getting much face time. The second paragraph is about how Haromoni@ is MM's only chance for regular TV exposure. So she makes a public appeal to Haromoni@ staff to give her a corner of her own, even one like Mitsui's "Let's maki maki". She acknowledges that she's been given corners but they all die off or suck (especially Tanaka photo gallery). Or maybe a return to a games format with physical comedy like getting pies in the face as the punishment game, etc. She also says if you have any good ideas, please write into the SNS site.

If this indeed is all true (especially about the part about using HM@ to "train" inexperienced production staff), well no wonder it went down the shithole.

Morning 2 with special guest Idoling!!! host Michishige Sayumi  i wanna see that.. yeah dream on... but what i'm saying is it wouldn't hurt to have some cool guest this time instead of bad comedians if they do have guests, however it shouldn't be boring crap that takes u the whole show and gives the girls 0 camera time.

I really liked today's episode. They made all the girls guess numbers for the lottery, and took the girls aside one by one and told them that their numbers had been picked and they won 4,000,000,000 yen. (4 million dollars?) and listed their reaction from 10%-100%, meaning 100% was the greediest person. I'm not going to give spoilers, but I was really touched by JunJun's reaction, she looked at the staff and without thinking she said "I'll give it all to my mother and father" and the staff was like "...what?? really??" and she's like "yea, I just want like 2-3 hundred dollars for myself, I'll buy clothes or something, but I don't need all that money."
Just another reason we need to all look up to JunJun.

yeah today's episode was really good, it was all about the girls and that is what we wanted. too bad it has to end soon.... imagine if today's episode was 45 mins long, we could have seen more uncut scenes.

anyway i won't give spoilers for this episode as well, will discuss again tue or wed till more ppl watched.
