A little off-topic, but bear with me.
I always thought it was a little ridiculous to blame Tsunku for every decision, bad or otherwise , that is made regarding Hello! Project. Sure, he writes the songs, and does a lot of behind the scenes stuff regarding the music itself, but I'm willing to bet that he has a lot less control over everything than people think.
At the most, I've seen him writing songs, presiding over the final rounds of auditions, tweaking concert setlists, give constructive criticism to the girls, and he USED to direct recording sessions in person.
What people need to remember is that Tsunku is a producer, not a manager, and unless you're talking about TNX, not the head of a company. Hello! Project was created as a marketing tool for the "Tsunku family", as it was called, and is a brand, not an institution.
And that's why I think it's unfair to blame Tsunku for this decision. UFA isn't his company. (TNX, on the other hand, is.)
Tsunku is just a proxy and gives us someone to blame.
I've always thought of it more as a joke than anything. But that's just me, some people might actually be serious about it.
Even though I also think he has very little to do with this decision, he was probably consulted about it and maybe even made the final decision. It's like blaming Truman for the a-bombs. (
such a fitting analogy)
About graduations from Momusu, I kinda hope they just graduate them out of H!P completely, unless they're exactly sure what they want that person to do within H!P. If they do keep them to do whatever, it's like they're doing what they used to do all over again. If they do let them go completely, they're kinda free to do what they wish. But because of this I also hope that they'll think about it a lot more before they graduate, instead of the "annual" graduation, lets get rid of someone.
