Went to a museum yesterday to see this old ancient terracotta army.
Some farmers found some objects by chance. Later on they found out it was a huge treasure left by the first emperors.
It was very impressive to see with how much detail each person was made.
Much details like the wooden weapons and the paint got lost by the age.
But most objects where still in good shape. Other than the army there was much else to see: Animals, some things for everyday use, etc. All sorts of things the emperor needed to live a good afterlife.
It was definitively worth the visit and quite interesting. (Went to Maaseik, it will be there till 31 march 2009)
Hope these objects will tour around the world so many others can see them too.
