Finish The Fight. Games you want to finish in 09

New year will be coming. Lotsa new games will be coming out. But there's a stack of games I still want to finish.
So, like a gaming new years resolution. Please list a few fights you really really want to finish before taking on the 2009 games head-on.

Me first:
1. Mass Effect - I took a lot of time finishing every sidequests before advancing the story, then left it behind for nearly a year now. Since it was the reason I bought an x-box, I really want to finish it. And see what the hell those conductor thingys, weird flashbacks and forgotten god-race babble actually mean to the main character.
and where's that hot controversial alien sex scene?

2. Bioshock - I totally missed buying this game of the year. So I opted for the PS3 version
And with a part 2 rumoured, I really need to start... plasmid... ing

3. Fallout 3 - Same deal. I've toiled hard on the sidequests, and even now I think I have only done 1/7 of 'em (completed mainly the middle and bottom-right areas). That map is bloody huge! and an add-on is coming.
I'm gonna be 60 when I finish this one.

4. FF I, II, III and VI (and IV again, just for the heck of it). The FF fanboy blood in me demands it.
Especially FF VI. Which I got stuck at in Sabin's first fight (yeah, the one where you had to press a few commands) for around 14 years already, and never got past it till this year (I feel so stupid for being robbed of this game due to such a simple gameplay mechanic). I'll finish it if it's the last thing I do.
When I've completed this task, I think FF13/vs13 might actually be out!

1. GTAIV - I never did finish the story until a friend snagged it from me. In '09 i def need to get it back and finish story.

2. (New) Prince of Persia - Didn't get it.. yet. And def didn't finish it. But i have a record of never ever giving up on PoP games. This one should be no different. I need to get it and finish it. And i need to do it before all the awesome '09 games starts rollin' in.

3. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - I barely started playing this game before getting over to other stuff. Guess I was mildly amused by it. Still i wanna beat it. I wanna see if i get to keel all Jedi's before the game is over.

4. HL2 - Ep 2 - I really really don't know why i never finished this. I played Portal like a maniac, but not Ep. 2. I really need to lay down the drumsticks for a while and get goin' with this awesome game again.

Off topic (Mass Effect): The sex scene with the Alien wasn't really much. There's a prostitute you do it with somewhere. But wait.. there will be more lovin' in the game.

Great Thread!!!

1. Pokemon Diamond - Just finish catching Dialga, but has a long way to finish the game. Also need to purchase Pearl and finish that too while attempting to catch all the pokemons in both edition. By the time I finish, I think Platinum will be out and that means more hours of "Gotta Catch'em All"!

2. Tomb Raider Underworld - Just purchased awhile back, passed the tutorial but stopped afterward... Lara is still attractive but I think I spent most of my time watching Olivia Munn and Layla Kayleigh  (from Attack of the Show on G4TV)

3. Prince of Persia -  have the copy (seal) but never started

4. FF3 for NDS - have the copy (seal) but never started

Well there's quite a lot of games I have in rotation Crisis Core, Oblivion, GTAIV, The World Ends With You, Prof Layton, to name a few.  But the one I do want to finish is FF:Tactics for the PSP. Haven't played it in so long and anytime I do I'm always in some random battle, which means I can't really remember what the story is about. Will have to go into the Chronicles menu and watch all the cutscenes again to catch up!

Super Robot Taisen Z - I know I probably won't ever manage this, but I've still got one more route to do and multiple playthroughs, so it's gonna be tough ;__;

Half Life 1 - god this game is loooooooong, but i'm getting through enough

My other games are packed away right now so technically I can't beat them, lol, but there's TONS of them unbeaten

Prince of Persia (new one)..played half of it. got bored. too repetitive..barely any enemies to fight at.

Silent Hill Home Coming - lost interest in it. lol

Final Fantasy 12...yea, game got boring lol

NFS Undercover and GTA4 , the two I'm playing now.

And if I find the DVD, Oblivion. And FEAR, I got this and put it away for Witcher. Just played around an hour.

I have a rather depressing 'backlog' of games that I want to finish. Most of them are a glut of GBA and GB games that I obtained during an uncontrolled buying spree. I have a self-imposed moratorium on buying additional games (I do buy the occasional 'must have'). Though I still can't muster the motivation to finish them. I could say that it is an issue of time but I know that if I really wanted to finish them I would make the time. If any of you guys have any tips, I would certainly like to hear them.

Just like FF8, I put Mass Effect on hold for around 1/2-1 year with only an hour of gaming left to finish it.
Being the reason I bought my 360, it really was a worthy purchase.
