OMG. Does anyone know the schedule of Morning Musume while they're in LA? Like, stuff they're doing. Interaction with the fans and all.. I really want to see/meet them again. The security and all is really really strict it's stupid. It's very upsetting. :( it's like, it's all about their video taping like, if you (people in LA who have the opportunity to interact/see them in person) want to see them, just buy the DVD that we'll release later... in Japan. It's very stupid. :(

Anyway, yeah.. please if anyone has any idea on where they'll be please update us.

And, anyone know when they'll go back to Japan? I really want to get a last glimpse before they go back. Thanks a lot guys.

I've been wondering too how soon their flight back would be. If they leave LA on monday, they won't have had much or any time to do anything but the convention. Seems they'd want to get photos and video at the beach (from santa monica down to playa del rey is the most convenient) and see something other than the convention center and its lovely neighborhood. Yet schedules are always tight.

Morning Musume is leaving LA tomorrow morning.

There are two JAL flights to Tokyo tomorrow, one at 12:25pm and one at 1:20pm.
The girls will have to check-in a few hours (maybe 3 hours?) before their flights, so probably be at say....9am?

Anyone planning to see them off?
Let's organize something.

Despite this new info, I hope they'll be coming to the closing so we can see them one last time. Anyway, onto my autograph experience. As usual, there's some swearing and venting in this story, and I'm sure everyone who's been here can understand. XD

Well, this adventure has felt soooooooo long, but it is nearing a close. Today was the last of the autograph ceremonies. I can't comment on the AX autograph event. Me and Rena did not bother with them at all since we were lucky enough to get tickets to the guaranteed UFA/JapanFiles event. However, those of you who were lucky enough to get into the AX signings, you got the better end of the deal. First off, Anime Expo tried to totally buttfuck the event. I guess AX didn't expect one of the most popular idol groups in Japan to have any kind of line, and when the line started to get long, the UFA/JapanFiles workers did the best they could, but some AX security people started arguing with the nice lady trying to not make a mess of AX's exhibit hall. We couldn't hear, but it was obvious by body language and voice volume that the security staff were being VERY hostile. Rena read on H!O they were threatening to shut down the event due to the lines being too long. The event actually began earlier than scheduled. The line moved very fast. As it got close to my turn, I got a little nervous but nothing big. I decided I'd just say "konnichiwa" and "arigatou gozaimasu" to everyone, except JunJun who I'd let know is my favorite. When we got in, things turned into a clusterfuck. Rushed doesn't begin to describe this event. Combine this with the fact that I was a bit starstruck, and I honestly don't remember seeing all of the girl's faces. As we got in, a security guard barked at us "Keep the line moving, no handshaking, no contact, and NO SMALL TALK!" Ummmm, what?! So, yeah, it was pretty confusing and fast. The first one at the table was Reina, who looked at me with this ... kind of defeated grin. With what Rena told me from her expression as she struggled to give them the postcards she had made for them, I think Reina felt bad for us, getting thrown around in line. She responded cheerfully to my Japanese hello and thanks. :) The rest of just... a blur. We think LinLin was second, and sadly I barely remember seeing her at all. I was really hoping to have some English fun with her. She was fucking AWESOME at the panel and concert. She didn't really respond to my konnichiwa or anything that I recall. I'm wondering if they were told not to talk with us or something. :? Up next was Takahashi who was nice but brief. When she finished signing my poster it got away from her. She was all "sorri sorri". It was cute. XD After that was Risa, who said hi but nothing else. Then there was Aika. I'll never get that look she gave me out of her head. It was... weird. XD I told her konnichiwa and she said it back. She was pretty cute. Up next was... Eri? She was awesome. She said hi first, but as I said "konnichiwa", she said it back with that cheerful face of hers. It was awesome. :D After that was Sayumi, who honestly, I can't remember. :( I think she just signed my poster and passed it on. Then there was Koharu, who was practically comatose. She looked so out of it, it was kind of sad. She didn't respond to me much at all. Her eyes seriously looked dead. I think she didn't take the jetlag too well and the concert took whatever little bit of energy she had. JunJun was last. I barely had time to say Konnichiwa. Things seemed really rushed when I was having her sign my poster. I didn't get to tell her anything, and she didn't respond to my "arigatou" at all. :bleed eyes: I don't mean to sound like I didn't enjoy it. Me and Rena both enjoyed it a lot, but it was VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY short and impersonal. Compared to the stories I heard of the AX event(s), it sounded really... I dunno, dull. Still, I'm glad I got to experience a crappy autograph signing rather than none at all. :) The girls did their best, and I'm very grateful to them. After the signing, me and Rena hung around to have a drink and try and watch them leave. It was an experience for sure. Fans and the wota were all over the place. Lots were taking pictures and filming. Me and Rena didn't risk it again. XD As the crowd started to get noticable, this guy who looked like Hiro Nakamura from Heroes with a giant bug up his ass kept telling us to clear the area, but as soon as he left they all just piled right back. They even started singing happy birthday to Koharu and Sayumi. He kept coming back, but the wota's returned. Me and Ayla sat down and pretended to be normal con goers. "So... anime! XD " It was pretty funny. We "saw" Morning Musume leave. They had an entourage around them so we didn't see much of them other than hands in the air waving. There was a kinda not cool moment when some wota's ran around to the other side to try and get a last glimpse, but it turned humorous when that stick-up-ass guy yelled "HALT!" at them. People were laughing at him hardcore. Heh... it was some day. :)

Since my experience with the con relating to this thread are pretty much over, I have something to say about it overall. I don't think any group, even my all-time all-genre favorite Perfume could get me to come back to this ever. This con is GARBAGE. They have some good events but they never start at the right time, getting into them is a giant mess, basically anything AX has their hands in gets ROYALLY messed up. I think the higher ups want to do a good job and do all they can, but the staff that is actually on the floor is so often uninformed, lazy, and/or downright incompetent that these amazing planned events turn into a frustrating cluster fuck. It's a real bummer because this con does have stuff to offer. Also, maybe this is just the small-town Texas boy in me talking, but holy crap the con-goers were downright rude and uncaring. Me and Rena have been nothing but bumped into, damn near stepped on, and smushed into crowds of mush the whole time. None of them seemed to have any sense of personal space whatsoever. Furthermore, they need to work on their translating staff. That guy in the pimp hat was really good, but that women with the blond highlight and bizarre tattoos (H!O people have dubbed her Dragon Lady XD ) who did a lot of the English to Japanese stuff at the H!P events was horrible. When she translated to us, she was omitting so much of the answer, and she had no concept of H!P stuff causing people to clarify what they were talking about, only for her to get it pretty much wrong anyway. I honestly don't think she speaks English or Japanese fluently. :smhid Personally, I just can't write enough words to describe how bad the con experience here has been.

Despite all that, this trip has been great. The #1 reason for this is the company of ichijoujirena. She's been a wonderful companion the whole time and kept me in good spirits when I was hurting, been great company throughout all these events, and made everything exponentially greater than it would have been coming alone. Second was the girls of Morning Musume. They were awesome every time I saw them. Even as they were obviously beyond tired and suffering from intense jetlag, they did all they could go smile and go on like the pros they are. Though I haven't been as into the group as I was in 2001, I have a newfound respect for this generation after seeing their efforts in person. I know it's only their job, but their dedication to it is definitely something that deserves intense respect. Meeting some of the hipsters was also pretty cool even though I only got to see you guys once. Another major plus was getting away from what I call "normal life" for a while. Everyone needs a break, and I've been years overdue for a vacation, so I couldn't think of anything more awesome than hanging out with a great friend and seeing a jpop group I've been into for a very long time. So yeah, not even the biggest AX fuckup could have ruined this for me. This was an awesome trip, and it ain't over just yet! :D I plan to make the most of tomorrow and just enjoy one more day of fun. I hope that everyone got to do everything that they wanted to do, enjoyed themselves, and had a little fun amidst the insanity that has been Anime Expo 2009. Until the next adventure! :shakeit:

Just got back this morning and holy shit it was awesome..

Highlights:
First and foremost meeting the old cast again (the seattle crew) it didnt seem like we missed a step, those three months that went by since we last met each other seemed like just a day. These foos are fucking awesome. Alohellofan's a chill dude, Ops doin his thing, Dai holdin it down (good shit), Dinny got to chase Yossie (lucky), T-back (?) always funny. And the new peepz Ten, Ping, the Elusive One and whoever i met lol, sucks that I didnt get to stay longer.

Tsunku (!):
Yeah I know wtf? LoL. Since I didnt get concert tickets I decided to beat all the people at the concert and camp out at Yossie's autograph line (which turned out to NOT be where the autograph session was gonna be held at) so I went there early and chilled. I was sitting down minding my own business when I see some dude walking towards me surrounded by guys in suits.. "hmm I wonder who he is" i think to myself.. so as he gets closer I noticed it was... Tsunku.. whoa wtf really? Yeah, the MAN himself.. Im looking at him like, "wtf is it really him?" As he walks by he looks at me.. yeah directly at me and I give him the upwards "whats up" nod. Haha.. he gives me the downwards "hello" nod. LoL. So yeah I got all G with him

Yossie:
Man meeting her again was better than last time. This time it seemed more personal.
So i get my ticket and now im waiting in line. This autograph session was much different as it was in a closed off booth with about 4-5 people getting autographs at a time. So me and Alohellofan get in the booth with me being the last in the "group" of people. As I walk in I see Yossie peek around the person in front of her to look at me. Im all "ohh shit its her! omg" First person gets done with his autograph and as the next person is walking up to her I see her take another look at me but with this look as if she seen me before but dont really remember kinda look.. the "double take". I hope she remembered me giving her the ol "Yo Check it out Yo" line back in seattle coz she said it back after. Anyway so Alohellofan gets his autograph and now its my turn. Shit im nervous as fuck. As I walk up she has this like smile on her face (man she's awesome) and says Hi.. I say Hi back and she signs the picture. I missed out on a handshake in seattle so this time I extended my hand for a shake. Now Im expecting either a girly weak handshake or one of those double handed handshake (either woulda been cool) but instead she gives me a one handed handshake but heres the thing she gots GRIP wow, yeah she put squeeze to it lol, Yossie had a firm handshake and it suprised me, i think she shook harder than i did LoL... so we stood there shaking for a couple seconds.. yeah i was in shock.. Btw, she looked fuckin gorgeous! :yossi: Man I Luv this Girl!

I wish I coulda stayed longer but work was calling me.. and I wanted to take pics with the crew but I forgot LoL. Well heres one..

Stand tall and shake the heavens.

Invis' LAX Report Summary (in LA) Version:

After 4days of line standing, sleeping little, more line standing, constant dehydration, fatigue, and heartaches... I can still say that this is an experience worth the problems I had to pay.

MY experiences were far from perfect and unlike the planning people from JPH!P, JPM, and H!O... this toorisugari no nantojin was left out in mid wind several times... not to say I was totally screwed over...but favor knows not how to give me A grades... and likes throwing me Cs... just think of it that way.

-I have to say that day 0 was an absolute pain... none ofmy freidns were able to help the late arriving, I and my ill planned attempts at accomplishing day 0 from Hawaii to there. You can estimate I spent about 5 hours in the sun and the cold of nightfall in line between pre-reg and event ticketing without any water or food. The battle ended with me in possession of a 12th row seat near the middle but not in the middle... and a miniquest involving finding food in an area where almost everything closes at 9:30pm (...except for places our hotel doesn't seem to know about when asked).

-Day 1 - Let the true battle begin! - This was the day it all hit the fans for most people... divided among two choices: 1. Stand in line at the opening ceremonies (which MM was scheduled to attend) or 2. Stand in the exhibition line (leading way to the JPOPHOUSE and Japanfiles area and sales of the must have "guaranteed" autograph ticke). The battle was tough for some and some chose a must have opportunity at the prize, while other chose the rare recordable appearance of the momusu. The rating seemed to side thata lot of MMfans showed up for the day as MM appearance both in seats and on stage caused a mighty uproar from almost every location in the large West Hall room. The appearance of MM at the opening ceremonies was big, and the cheers were audible sign of how many of us were really wanting MM to do their best. 30 minutes of wait for the late opening ceremonies, and a long opening ceremony left some people looking at the day brightly, seeing Aichan light up when she found out the voice of sephiroth was on the other side of the long guest tables (and his quote bringing you despair ^^), and her sign of pure Final Fantasy fandom makes the day feel greater as you can feel that AX energy even catch the Momusu (though it might have been the fear sayu-tachi had from sitting next to some very outlandish characters ^_-).

Opening Ceremonies over, we are take to a mad dash from the West Hall to the South hall, a far "walk" between almost opposite ends of the Convention Center. Then for many theywere forcedto face an outdoor line up in the hot sun waiting for the exhibition area to open. some were blessed with being indoors, and others, blessed with the shade of the nearby overpass, but eventually regardless a dash to the destined MM-related booths began. Unfortunately the layout for the booths wasn't very crowd friendly, a big pile of people trying to buy things resulted in a mob of unrecognizable direction. The resulting force cause Japanfiles to try stepping in to fix things... but a clockwise and counterclockwise line proved to cause two much confusion at the crossing points. Eventually a Double helix style line was created, spiral power leading more organized buying. But not all would be bless as numbers of tickets for MM ran out just 20-30 minutes before the Q&A panels beginning. Some had decided to take to the panel first (a wiser decision in the end for reasons stated soon), but I hoping that giving money would mean higher quality made sure to buy my fair share of merchandise.

A mad dash then began again from the exhibition hall in South Hall, once again across the way to the LPT for the Q&A session. While some friends saved seats for each other, alas my allies could not be found and I was sent to the back of the floor. The Q&A started, cheers, lovely views, interesting (and sometimes unnecessary) comments and questions appeared and from my position fairly near the back, I was fairly certain MM was enjoying themselves. Then the news had struck that scars my chances for infinity, only 500 tickets to the AX assigned autograph session will be handed out...and it goes to the front 500... choosing merchandise over seating and not having friendly assistance lead to my downfall... I was no where near 500... I hear about a standby line... perhaps a ray of hope... a false ray of hope but one none the less... I jet off as soon as I see the others go.

It's a MARATHON NOW! MM fans left and right, Japanese Wota, the Jphipsters, the jpmians, H!Onese, all run at mach speed from west hall back to south hall (are you keeping count? lol), people clear part ofthe hall noticing the fast moving people with only one question, "what the heck is going on?" Lines start searching... though many lost as directions lead many astray...the proclaimed "beyond artist alley" lead some lost in the exhibition hall, while others wanded around the outside lookingfor the literal behind. in the en it was on the private 3rd floorwhere the autographing would be. And the lines started forming... the ticketed and the standby.

Standby line... my spot... leadto nothing... we sat in prayer as we shared stories of our journeys up to now... the volunteer making sure to watch us but also being the cool guy he was, keeping us company and telling us stories, "their heels were so hight they could barely walk. One of the girls, I can't tell which is which, tripped a bit and when I laughed by accident she laughed too." Time past and we were denied... try again Saturday was the world...and we left.

Now while my adventureforthe day stops then many things were learned. 160~ were able to get their goods signed.... signing not only included meeting them but could include shaking hands and making small talk. An opportunity unlike any in Japan... and many people were filmed for a special DVD in the future. Amazing! Fortunate for some if they were ticketed and didn't make it they take priority for day 3 (saturday's) AX autographing session.

-Day 2 (Concert) .... it was awesome...I'm not gonna give a full report on this as many did a terrific job...and this was the same for all people

Day 2 (happy party)...was cool too... but peoplecan fill in this story as well.

-Day 3 (Autographing Day) ... autograph day... a day that will live in infamy AX MMtravellers for ages. Remaining tickets from the Q&A priority session: 330~ time for the AX session overhte last one: 30 minutes more... almost guaranteed that no standby people would get to go...but we left early and checked out the line...today I decided to try to do right... my allies previously helped me a little survive days 1 and 2 (apparently not enough based on the result ^_-... just kidding guys you guys did your best with an idiot like me), and I decided to help the people getting signatures today for the H!P booth signing. We arrived shortly after the exhibition hall opened and scouted out the area the booth was (with knowledge from day 2's yossy appearance as reference). It was not long before we were told we could not form a line till 1... we decide to clump into group... and effort was made to inform all the line comers of the situation... avoid causing suspicion and getting into trouble...this effort lasts till 12:30ish... when form changed from "no line" to "no loitering" a problem which did not seem to bother the other loiterers one booth over. Alas we spread out into the nearby dining areas and hallways to avoid anymoretrouble... and tell other incoming line seekers the situation. The linetimewas changed to 1:30...we wait... one thirty come and the line is formed...then cut...then jumbled...I being on of the first people there was happy to see some of the others had found places nearthe frontofthe line after all that sending away...but I was sent nearthe back...then cut...then told togo away...then noticed that they let people whowere showingup backin...then sent to the Japanfiles booth...then sent back tothe line cause japanfiles can't block the aisles for no reason.. then told we had to come back later...then noticepeople getting put in the line...and others told to circle... wasin "secondary" line...in dining area...

Eventually in line things went ok... unfortunately... dedication and hard work need a bit of luck to work well... H!P booth rules: no small talk, no handshakes... move quickly. We were locked in...I enjoy every moment I can...being in line I start jumping up and down... getting waves from risa and smiles from aika...Reina starts off with a Hello and immediately starts singing my item... thewarning of no smalltalk strikes me... I can'tget anywords out ofmy mouth otherthan "Hello" and "Thankyou"... the translator is behind me...her stern authority reminds me of their warnings... she takes theperson behind me's photo set and starts to distribute it into place on the table for each memberwhile I am getting things signs... Linlin... I can't make words... Aichan... I want to speak but nothing comes out... my voice shakes out the normal phases... my brain hesitates... explain why I chose this to get signed... mention how muchyou appreciate them trying so hard to use english...but nothing happens...I move on...Risa notices my wristband... she says "oh thankyou!" my heart jumps... but I can only get off a "Thank you so much" my voice still quivering. Aika isnext... the photos from the person behind me far surpassed my movement and I was causing a minor problem... but I triemy best asvoices intersected... I could only get off the normal thank you...as theperson behind meis able to tell his favorite he likes her best... my brain shutsdown...the translator wasn'taround me...I lost my chance...ishevelled...I continue to Eri...I'm notuse tothi kindofstuff..when have I ever gotten to talk to 9 beautiful girls of this quality one after another... NEVER!....it's the same... sayu gives me a smile and I can feel kind warmth build up in myself... I've just talked to so much wonderful people... I have to say something to sayu...it'ssayu...my voicestill shakes...but nothing comes out beyond that same thankyou soo much...the smiles arejustsokind and soft... Koharu gives me a glance and goes right into writing... her thankyou is loud and full of energy...mine isstill a shakey mess. JunJun.. I watch her smile and happily sign her spiral Js... I look at her as she hands me my item...and I still can't doit... my heart half on fire and half broken...I walkout the exit...both in a moment of pure bliss and a crack of disappointment.

After several years of fandom... being outside both fanclub tours in hawaii I knew about... trying to find them everytime they were in hawaii...I come to my moment of interaction...and got a wonderful autograph... a chance to meet and be close with these girls which I feel come from a world I thought I'd never have a chance to touch without spending a lot of money and time (gaining Japanese speaking and advanced reading, being able to go to Japan, etc.)...and I couldn't do anything. My brain was still in bliss...my anger from all the days of lines, of misinformation and being the child inbetween the fighting parents that were UFA and AX staff... all didn't seem so important... Just that feeling that I had a chance...a chance that I wish everyone could have had...and I didn't make the most of it.

I don't know what to say anymore... I don't know whether I let myself down as a fan...as a person... as someone trying to help...I just know...that if they ever want to come to somewhere I can afford again...I will take this experience and forge a blade.

Knowing that...a group must be together. The first time is the hardest... luck wins over all... some will get all three autographs probably (being lucky and getting someone else's ticket), some get 2... some get the better... some get the worse, and some get nothing... I can't say I'm pathetic when I got something...I can't be the Best since I didn't get three... but I got something to treasure....to remember... the concert...theQ&A... the autographing... the pain...but just in allthe experience... And even as I write this...both in joy and sorrow... this balance finds me sayiing this...it was the best I could get... and I take it in fully.

So if you have the chance to...you have the money...the location... the drive... sure try to do it... remember there is pain... there is hard work... in the end the return may not be so high...but if you take it...and keep using it for the next one...or the next one... till you can do more, it'll still be wonderful once you make it through that curtain...

This was Invis... possibly writing alot because he is dellusional and has very little sleep...apologizing if this is too much to read....good night.

As for me, today, there was alot of disappointment, the biggest thing is not able to make it in the first (AX event) autograph session. I had a #68 stand-by stub and waited since Tsunku panel ended. btw, the Tsunku panel was enjoyable.
during the 10am-12:30pm wait, I had a talk with a guy that been to Japan a couple of times and told me some interesting info about how a H!P concert is done in Japan. He said that hours before the concert, fans would usually walk around outside, some with pitch camp and bring out their items, for sale, trade, buy or just to show off. There are hundreds, or thousands, or so I heard. Most of the fans are apparently male wotas, but he told me that once inside, there were quite a few female, range from all ages. I guess the female just don't particular do what the male wotas normally do. But this help me gain a new insight about the popularity of MoMusu/H!P in Japan. How there were 80% male, 20%female demographics. He also mentions that there are also many young female fans as well. toddlers->kids->teens that usually can't make it out to the majority of the concert like their male wota counterpart. Most male wotas are salaryman or those with a job and income that the can spend on such pleasure. Most of the female fans are younger and A)needs parents to be with them, B) parents, too can't make it to the majority of the concerts, and C) doesn't have the money to travel across country and make it to every concert.

Tsunku mentioned that at Friday concert, 7500 people attended the MoMusu concert. Which in his words, are a very good turnout, as for the fans as well. I was glad that this many attended and also glanced at the entire hall to see the crowd during the concert.
The that fan told me that 7500, to a normal MoMusu concert, isn't that much. Normally, there would be upwards of 8-10k, said from the man that went to Japan concert more than 5 times.

I forgot to mention, that lady who was translating for MM most of the time was not a professional interpreter. You can tell by the way she translated things, and made her own stupid comments about what was being said. She seemed more like their manager or PR person, and was super annoying. I could tell during the panel, the real interpreter was probably getting annoyed at her too. She didn't understand many of the questions during the Q&A panel, with many of them being answered incorrectly. She also failed to translate many things that were said and kept butting in. Totally unprofessional and seemed like an attention whore. We didn't need her as an MC, and even more as an interpreter.

Also to clarify, it was less than 160 people to get autographs during the first session. If the white paper strips were any indicator, it was more like about 150 since I was I think #157 or somewhere around there and didn't get one. If only... But it seems tenkei maybe got the album signed, which is good enough for me in terms of autographs.

@ ckd,
don't blame the girls of H!P for what happened. It just didn't happen. Believe me, I understand completely, I understand the disappointment and anger, but I'm not gonna blame H!P or anyone for that matter for not being able to meet the girls. It just didn't go according to how I planned. Quit your fucking whining man. Don't let one little thing drive you to hating a group you claim to be a fan of. I know me saying this is probably not gonna do anything, but I just have to say it.

K... So this is my whole experience @ AX in a nutshell.

Day 0 - Arrived for press junket, missed airport greeting & stayed in hot, gross room for 5 hours. Got no interview.. Oh well. Managed to not stand in line for regular badge or tickets since I already had a press badge. Instead got fast tracked through ticketing system & received front row seats & a $20 refund for ticket because I qualified for a free ticket as press.

Day 1 - Went to opening ceremonines, shot some video of MM & missed out on getting guranteed ticket for Yossy & Morning Musume. Panel was fun & got a ticket for autograph signing. Failed at getting into autograph session because of bad directions & expired time. Boourns. Went bowling with JPH!P to kill the disappointment, fun times.

Day 2 - Breakfast with GOH's. Breathed same air as Musume & got to stare at them for a while. Very cool. Didn't get to talk to them but whatever. I was there dammit! Concert was fucking awesome. Was nice to sit in front, too bad everyone else (except for my friend & the Japanese fans) were stiffs. But we schooled their sorry asses in how to enjoy a Morning Musume concert. Was nice to get lots of Koha love on our side of the stage.

Bought everything I could thing of from H!P merchandise booth Vendor was the same woman from Sakura-con. If she didn't remember me then (I bought all the shit there too) she definitely remembers me now. Hopefully she works the next event (whenever that may be) so I can just show up & she has my bag of swag ready for me.

Went to Hello! Party for a bit. Spent most of it strategizing on where & when to line up for 2nd Morning Musume autograph session.

Day 3 - Met up with Mike (a.k.a. The Panda Guy) & secured spot for autograph line up. Stood in line since 6:30 & ended up with a decent call number for autographs. Finally got my ass in the session & found out the dragonlady wasn't a total bitch in the morning. Was able to get all my individual photocards signed. Gave Ai-chan a monkey dressed in full Edmonton Oilers hockey gear. With which she accepted with a big ass smile on her face. She didn't even give it to the handler to put away & kept it by her side instead. Too sweet. :cow:

Moved on to through the line from Risa -> Eri -> Reina -> Sayu -> Koha -> Aika -> Jun Jun -> Lin Lin. Eri was interesting, she extended her hands after signing my photo card. I was like what? For real? We had some fun when we shook eachothers hands somehow ending up saying "Whooooo" as we did it. :D From then on each one let me shake their hands. Reina's signature was fricking complicated. It was like she was drawing a blueprint or something. It looks nice though. I was greeted with a big "Hi!" by Aika. She's actually very cute & really nice. Gave my last gift to Jun Jun. A banana guard. She was so damn happy that she went a long spiel about loving bananas & how she eats them all the time. I just smiled like an idiot & replied with, "awesome". Photo set completed.. will be preserved & framed when I get my ass back to Canada.

Day 4 - Uh.. yeah.. that's now & I ain't gonna be anywhere near con except to take a picture of that Michael Jackson wall thing.

Overall the experience at the con (with the exception of the concert) was negative. One should not be running around the building like an idiot trying to find out where events are. AX staff fail @ not being clear about where people should have been to get autographs. Dragonlady was the same one from Sakura-con & she was a bitch there too. Otherwise I got to see a Morning Musume concert as close as I could possibly get for a North American & got to meet them by sacrificing an encounter with Tsunku & not sleeping after Hello! Party.

Outside the con it was kick ass. I met a lot of cool people from everywhere & had some good times.

I feel that this is one of those times when everyone feels someone is the enemy or the jerk or the ass (either AX, H!P/UFA, or japanfiles) but in reality... all the places take part of the blame...and part of the role as evil... even we the fans were a part of the blame.

AX was trying to maintain the order of their con...they aren't use to lines of this much energy and aggressive action. I mean they are use to people forming lines and stuff... but every MM based event lead to almost ever MMfan going to it 2,3 sometimes 6-9 hours before the event started... fire regulations, movement obstructions, commotions... all these things call problems with the santity of AX as a whole unit... AX is like the stern father of this party...they want to keep things being functional...and they do it the best they can... sometimes even threatening to "turn this car around right now"... This includes security, staff, and volunteers... they try to maintain order in an environment full of uncertainty...sometimes extrapolating incorrect or slightly off info...but all to try to maintain order.

UFA is a bit like the strict authoritative mother. They have a plan and they want to execute it under their control. They need footage for whatever they are working on and it has to be good... at the same time they have "daddy" breathing down them about how much that will cause problems and how much all their suggestions are putting a hamper on the harmony of theshow. The result i a straight and too the point process. Not all of UFA were like this it's true...some were so because they needed to...others by nature... I heard a very heartfelt attempt to get people to listen from one of hte line ladies... worrying about us but wanting to keep everything in order... she had good ideas too but the crowd was hard to maintain and her thought fell on deafear. Examples of the mean authority is as most mentioned... the translator aka "dragonlady"... she was fierce too the point an honestly rather scary.... two faced is one of those things that comes to mind...

The fans being the kids they are, are stuck in the middle... they have things they want to do but father and mother are always arguing about how, where, and when to do it. THe fans try to do things the way they are told....but being hyper energetic they are overcome with force and run. The fans create problems while the mama and the papa are arguing because neither is clear and both of their decisions conflict each other... the fans keep going though...not wanting to miss the adventure they push forward... upsetting mama and papa greatly.

japanfiles is like the helpful but confused uncle... they want to help they have ideas, they worked hard, but they aren't the mama or the papa, and can only do so much... babysitting the kids can only be done so much when the kids want to do things with mama and papa... ya know? In that way japanfiles tried to help out... but couldn't do much as they weren't always informed of what happens.

This is my analogy,.. but I dunno...after today I feel it fits...

If you're referring to the JL5015 12:25 flt (well...last I checked it says 12:45), it's a codeshare flight for American Airlines flt 169 so it's basically an American Airlines flight.

So it's really only the 1:20 flight.

Oh, and for those of you who want to know about the Sayu sighting: no pics b/c it happened in like 5 seconds. I was getting out of the elevator and I passed her and her manager when they were getting in. I did a double take and sure enough, it was Sayu~~~
As for all of them, they are so adorably small and beautiful~~

Epic reports guys! :D I'm glad to hear you got to see them, however brief it maybe. Just knowing that you're all closer to the likes of Takitty, Risa, Reina, Eri etc just makes me incredibly jealous and hate you all :P
