A central Iowa mother woke up over the weekend to find her 14-year-old daughter having a seizure.

After a trip to the emergency room, a family learned that the cause was most likely from playing video games too long.

what a weak girl...I've played games for up to 10 hours straight (almost) and I never had a seizure or anything...

I can last 18 hours a day on gaming.

That's gotta hurt though, never had a seizure, so I don't know what it feels like.

I have a friend who is hardcore obsessed with MMORPGs and calls Korean's weak hahaha. He's played MMORPGs for over 72 hours not sleeping and only getting up to goto the bathroom / eat.

Hahaha he needs help but I won't be the one to do it. He lives in B.C. He actually made money playing MMORPGs. He sold some item on Everquest for like $800.00USD so...that's HOW he got addicted. He flew to Ontario (where I live) and stayed here for 2 weeks with the money he made off MMORPGs. Now he just plays them for fun. I dunno if anyone here has playing Final Fantasy XI but he has 2 characters that are the absolute highest you can go and was one of the first people to "complete" the game (well do all the quests etc.) Whatever floats his boat : P

The real problem was that she was playing Superman on the N64. You would get a seizure too from the fustration of trying to play it.

but 5 hours isn't that long or is it
(I don't really know what I'm talking about... my record is 3 hours *ehehehhe......*)

but did you know, it is scientificly proved that a person who spends more then 4 hours a day has less brain activity then someone who doesn't?

Well he's Viet (surprise surprise LoL) and basically he got SO far ahead in FFXI he ended up sleeping during the day so he could play at night because the only people high enough to level with him were Japanese players (seeing as they had the game before North America did). He also speaks fluent Japanese though so it's no problem for him.
