Watched it yesterday, good acting on Gocchins part!

But seriously the conclusion was kinda .... bleeeh!
And I mean, why clipping off just the nail, when the whole finger was drenchend in blood - where is the logic in that??? :evil:

But still good show, hope someone puts out subs soon.

I finally watched it today

Alone, locked up in a room, without lights on. YEAH!!!

I dunno, I heard some complaints about the story, but I think it was e.g. much better than Koinu no Waltz (which doesn't make any sense to me, except for Nacchi's cuteness). And Koinu was a whole series

So um. It kept me entertained, but I really, really need subs.

Gocchin was pretty awesome. I think I figured out her character pretty well. Except I'm unsure at what point or why did Yumiko turn so cold and selfish. I mean, she didn't seem like that when she was with the old woman for the first time... Uh huh, that's another thing. The timeline got kind of blurry to me x___x so I'm a bit confused because of that, too. Which woman was she with at first, the oldie or the hot short haired one?

OH WELL I LIKED IT MAKI GOTO IS VERY SEXY AND LIFE IS GOOD WHEN STUFF LIKE THIS COMES OUT.

I think the scene where she does the old woman chronologically follows the one where she picks her up from the rain (notice the bathrobe, and she does say it's her first time touching a woman), at which point she still lives with her boyfriend, whose dumping of her later drives her to the arms of the actress.

I'd say she starts to grow cold when she starts on her road to success. It's a happiness built on the misfortune of others, as one of the characters indirectly remarks later, I just don't remember which scene that was. She's been stepping over bodies to get where she is, starting from her mother, and copes with her guilt by killing her empathy.

Actually, the scene where Yumiko runs into Tsuneko (on her way to work) was after she already known her at the pub. So, the first one that she slept with was Miho (right after she was dump by her jerk BF) and follow by Tsuneko.

I agreed that flash back were at times confusing. @_@//

I watched it in my room alone, but with the doors wide open and at some point, my sis and mum both came in to talk to me about something.

I disagree. She's definitely shown leaving her boyfriend's apartment before she gets caught in the rain; it's the exact same place she enters in the breakup scene.

With the mother, I was referring to how she had to turn to prostitution to support Yumiko.

About the bath robe scene, I don't think they went beyond the gropping for that night. (My guess. LOL) So I still think that she slept with Miho first. The following scene, we see her looking up Tsuneko followed by another bed scene (2 of waking up together). That's how I see the sequence.

Well, if you consider the gropping scene as one, then I suppose you could interprete it as Tsuneko before Miho.

i waited until my mom and dad went to sleep at night, then i lock myself in my room, and lie on my bed to watch it. but on half of the show, i heard my dad woke up and went to the kitchen, so i quickly turn off my room's light and turn low the speakers volume, and watch in silent and dark, hahahaha

anyway watching the the show wasnt that confusing, but reading all these asking and explaining questions here makes me go dizzy~ @_@
the show was unexpectingly easy to understand, b4 watching the previews i thought i definitely need sub for this, but since i understand most of it, its kinda ok for me, or maybe bcoz i have repeated a couple of times every single night thats y i understand it (gosh im acting like pervert here) hahaha, well if there is subs im glad, if not its fine for me

I KNEW I had seen the old lady somewhere before! She's veteran dorama actress Manda Hisako. I've seen her as a guest on the classic Iron Chef.

She was a guest on that end-of-year speacial show (can't remember specifically which it is) where Maki did the Jitensha Otoko skit.
