I decided to update again tonight while I still had the ideas in my head.

Note: I tend to not be very descriptive when I write, I just don't have that magical power. I also tend to rush things more than I want to but it's even worse to drag it out. This chapter is very long, full of fluff, angst, and it moves at a completely unrealistic pace with tons of mood swings, typical confusion, etc. I tend to be very loose with plots, too. Obviously.
Enjoy.

Chapter 3.
The two did nothing except sit in awkward silence for about an hour, looking at each other from across the room.
Nozomi finally got up and went to sit next to Ai.
"I don't want there to be any hard feelings between us." She grabbed Ai's hand, and held it tightly. There was silence for a moment, and she spoke again.
"I know this is so sudden, but really, I've felt like a huge jerk for how I treated you back then. I really regretted it."
Ai still said nothing.
Nozomi let go of Ai's hand, and got up, with her back turned.
"If you don't want to forgive me, it's okay." She sounded choked up. "I don't deserve an apology anyway."
Ai changed the subject, "Are you still with that guy?"
She turned back around, disappointed that Ai changed the subject, "No, I'm not." She sighed and looked at the floor, "It never worked out, I didn't love him..."
"What about you?"
"I've never been in love with anyone." Her tone changed, it was completely unforgiving, and she was back in denial.
Nozomi was silent, she was completely sick to her stomach after hearing that.
She could barely speak, "Not even...not even me?" the tears began to pour from her eyes, her back was still turned.
Ai couldn't let her know, it would end up in heartbreak again, "We never had anything." She was surprised at her own harshness.
"I never loved you, Nozomi."
"I see..." She said in an almost inaudible whisper.
Nozomi fell to her knees. She covered her face with her hands and began to sob uncontrollably.
Ai stood up, she stared at the sobbing girl for a moment, thinking about what to do. Honestly, she wanted to give in to her soft side and just hold her.
But instead, she just walked out of the door and shut it, leaving Nozomi there in a pathetic, crying mess.
She stood outside for a minute. She tried to bring herself to walk away, she just couldn't.
Ai opened the door again and walked in, shutting the door behind her.
She gave in, she couldn't resist, she rushed over to Nozomi, and wrapped her arms around her tightly.
She had started crying even harder.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry Nono. Please don't cry..." This time, she was surprised at how easily she had given in to this, and showed her feelings so suddenly.
Nozomi sat up, her tears began to stop.
"Aibon...?"
"Yeah..?"
"I want to start over."
Ai wiped the tears from her eyes and sniffled, but the tears were still falling.
"What do you mean?"
Nozomi grabbed both of Ai's hands.
"I still love you. Even after we've been apart. I've been thinking about it, and the feeling increases everyday."
"But you hurt me so much. I can't just forgive you and pick up where we left off. My life has been fucking miserable, Nozomi. I realize most of it was brought on by myself, but you doing that to me made it the worst." She continued to cry, she didn't have an ounce of shame left, she blurted out.
"The only thing that really mattered to me was you, when you did that, I didn't even see a reason to continue to live. Do you understand that? No, you don't. You're just a spoiled kid, Nono." She sniffled again and rubbed her eyes.
"I'm sorry, Nono. I still love you, but I can't put myself through this again." Her cheeks heated up, she was being so matter of factly about it. It was almost as if they had picked up where they left off the last time they had seen each other. She stood up and looked down at Nozomi, who had started crying again.
"Aibon...please, just give me a chance. Please." She was still holding Ai's hands, and her own hands were trembling. She pulled each of Ai's hands to her lips to kiss them. "Please..." she looked up, and locked her eyes with the other girl's.
That face.
Ai was growing very, very weak again.
Nozomi shook her head and sobbed, holding onto Ai's hands very tightly, "Please, I love you, Aibon, please...I didn't know what I was doing, I shouldn't have let you go like that, nobody ever loved me like you, I was so stupid, I-" Not knowing what else to do, Ai silenced Nozomi with a kiss, then pulled away after a few seconds, feeling really awkward, and inappropriate.
"Sorry about that." She scratched the back of her head and gave a small, awkward laugh. She looked at Nozomi, who obviously couldn't say anything, and was blushing heavily.
"...Nono? Are you okay?"
"Kiss me again." Nozomi leaned toward Ai's face.
Ai pushed her away. "No. I shouldn't have even done that since it obviously gave you the wrong idea." Or was it her who had the wrong idea?
"Aibon." She looked at her seriously, completely ignoring whatever she just said.
"Kiss me again."
Defeated, and still unsure, Ai just sighed, and pecked Nozomi on the lips.
"There. Are you happy now? Can I just go?" She realized what she was getting herself into, and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not.
"I'm not letting you go, Aibon. Ever again." She felt Nozomi cling to her tightly, her mood softened, she couldn't keep from being happy.
They were together again, and all of a sudden.
Her life seemed to be a little more complete.
