sharapova losing so badly surprised me, she seemed off her game

as for how gonzo's gonna win, he's gotta strike first and get federer worried, he he sits back then federer will start off and if that happens he'll get his rhythm and once he gets that, it's hard to get him off it, so gonzo needs to beat federer to the punch, the main test will be whether he can get his forehand rollin or not

it's gonna be interesting as federer has the best forehand now (and possibly ever) so it'll be fun to see how gonz's measure up

actually i think gonzo's is better

, federer's forehand i think is more well used...so i guess it's better in that sense that it's used at the right times, but i think gonzo's forehand is better just...it's more widely used that it's easier to catch on...
but gonzo played kinda well....considering he was playing the person who is now considered the "tennis god"

Gonzo shoulda won the first set. I liked how Federer put in some corny jokes in his speech that weren't funny. GAHHH Nadal better win the French.

Gonzalez has a really weak backhand x.x... I remember the oh so many times he tried slicing the ball instead of his backhand.

IMO, he needs to work on his psychological game... and his backhand

I think serving for the set on the first and losing it is a big-time demoralizer. Gonzales psychologically carried that thought even on 2nd and 3rd set.

Even if Federer loses this French (he hinted already, his greatness won't diminish by failing to win in Paris), I'm sure he's on his way to crush Sampras' record!

BTW, Sampras will be playing in Boston for Outback Champions Series (Seniors?) this May. Is this the effect of Federer Express? Another comeback a-la Jimmy Connors on the horizon?

Sampras is not gonna play Federer... Jimmy Connors looks too old to play competitive tennis.

lol prince of tennis woot. great anime but sometimes could get a little boring. i wish some of the moves were actually possible xD. watching it made tennis look SO much more exciting than it is, but i still gotta say tennis is still exciting.
