Imawano Kiyoshirou dies at 58

Rock singer Imawano Kiyoshirou died on May 2nd at 0:51 am of lymphatic cancer. He was 58 years old. There'll be a private funeral with just close relatives.
The funeral wil be held on May 9 at Aoyama, Tokyo.  A general visit of condolence is accepted.
Imawano gave birth to hits such as "Ameagari no Yozora ni" ("Night sky after the rain") as vocalist of the rock band RC Succession.  Movie director Takeshi Kitano (62) broke the news of Imawano's death near the end of the broadcast "Information 7days newscaster" on TBS. often together in old times by the comedian who had been performing the life.

And I'm having trouble getting a coherent translation of the rest but the general gist of it is......

The album "Covers" in 1988 was critivised for dealing in nuclear issues.  He was a bike enthusiast and in September 2005, about 160 of his bikes stolen and later recovered.  Announcement made 2006.07 that he had laryngeal cancer.  After treatment he performed at the "John Lennon Super Live" concert at the Budoukan on 2007.12.08.  In July 2008 the cancer was found to have spread and further performances were cancelled.

Thank you so much for some albums with Imawano's other bands. Very hard to find such on the internet, just as his solo albums are.
I fell in love with him & his voice after I saw 'Happiness of the Katakuris' as the love song he sang immediately became one of my favorite songs ever.

I hope hes rocking out wherever hes at now, RIP.

If you have any more of his solo albums or other band material i'd love to hear them!
Heres the 'The Feeling of Love' with him singing from 'Happiness of the Katakuris':
