Riko Narumi was the voice of Linus in the 2011 released dubbed version of the Peanuts movie "Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown".
In Japan the title of the movie is “Happiness is: Snoopy to Shiawase no Blanket” (Snoopy and the Blanket of Happiness), and was released in August. Snoopy gave Riko lots of smiles and helped her celebrate her 19th Birthday in August at the release event. She has grown from the amazing talented young teenager into a beautiful young woman deshou?

Here is what Riko said about the role in a Tokyo Hive article: “When I was an elementary school student, I used to go to Snoopy Town, so I am very happy. At 19 years old, Riko has lived up to her earlier promise- she has continued to grow as an actress, and she has become a beautiful young woman.

And she still is a unique personality, really quite different than any of her contemporaries in personality and style.

The Henry David Thoreau line certainly applies to Riko san:

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears the beat of a different drummer."

Riko had a nice supporting role in the film 'Go, Masao!'

Along with Riko, the film stars Shingo Katori (of SMAP), Ryoko Hirosue, Ken Mitsuishi, Susumu Terajima, and Takehiko Ono.
The closing theme song was Atsuko Maeda's 'Kimi Wa Bokuda'.

I have posted about the film in the Japanese film section, but a very heartwarming film.
