Actress Sakuraba Nanami (17) is the new image character for Suntory's fruit juice soft drink "natchan! orange". As the so-called 6th generation natchan she is going to follow the footsteps of Tanaka Rena (1st generation) and her senpai Horikita Maki (4th generation).

The new commercial that is going to start on the 23rd will be her first solo-commercial and with her upcoming movies "Shodo Girlz!!" and "Saigo no Chushingura", it seems like 2010 will be one of her best years so far. Her fresh charm totally fits with the image of the drink and at the same time Suntory is going to increase the fruit juice from 20% to 50%. We will get a fresher commercial and a juicier drink. It's a win-win situation.

"I already knew this brand when I was very young. I'm truly and extremely happy to appear in such a famous series of commercials," Sakuraba commented proudly.

In the commercial titled "Kingdom of Female High School Students" Sakuraba and 200 local female high school students run around the Tottori Sand Dunes and then enjoy the juicy soft drink. "We often bumped into each other, but it resulted in nice pictures with real intensity," she added.

The DVD that marks the final days of Sakuraba's idol career is called "N-P" (Nanami Power) and was filmed in Cairns, Australia. She once already had the chance to travel to that place in form of a field trip, but unfortunately she wasn't able to participate back then. From now on she is going to concentrate more on her acting career and it's the last time for her fans to see her "fresh body" in swimsuits in front of beautiful nature.

Sakuraba also always wanted to meet some wombats and this time her wish finally came true. "I'm so happy that I finally met some. The vast landscape and deep blue sky there were breathtaking," she said.
