It was her birthday, the new CM came out and her single is coming up. We randomly pin threads when there's something happening with that member.

Most of the first posts are probably outdated, but with 250+ girl threads it hard to keep up. They don't have priority atm.

During the event, Itano performed her new song “Fui ni” for the first time in public. “When I first heard it I was more pleased with it than I was with ‘Dear J‘, so I was looking forward to the day I performed the song,” she revealed with a smile.

The idol also turned twenty years old this month, so she talked about finally being a legal adult in Japan. “Since I still haven’t had a drink with Akimoto-sensei. I’d like to do that soon,” she requested.

On the night before her birthday, Itano did a countdown, and the moment she turned 20, she tasted a little bit of alcohol. For her hatachi (twentieth birthday) present, the cute idol received alcohol, a special glass, and a bottle of wine from 1991. “Even now, even if I just drink one sip I get so red. I don’t think I’m good (at drinking), but since I don’t get drunk I might not be that bad at it,” she confessed. She also said that she received a long text message of blessings for her birthday from Akimoto Yasushi.

“I still don’t know if I feel like I’ve turned twenty, but I wanna grow more and more, and be an adult woman. I also would like to have a live somewhere big, and release an album,” she said to the crowd. “Since it’s something that only happens once in a person’s life, I’m really looking forward to my coming-of-age ceremony. I’d like to celebrate that day with my friends from my hometown.”

Her second single “Fui ni” is scheduled for release on July 13th, so the idol also took a moment to talk about her new song. “It’s a cute kind of song, so (I’d be happy) if people listened to it, hummed it, and fell in love with it,” Itano said sweetly.
