Finally got around to watching Into the White Night/Byakuyako, wish I never had.

The drama was one of the best ever,

this film was really just so, so bad

.... more movies like this and the sleeping pill companies will go out of business,

least Maki looked terrific.

Latest view which wasn't a classic either but so much better than the above debacle, Love on Sunday: Last Words. It was from 2007 and it was one of those films shot with a hand camera, guy didn't always have a steady hand.
