^ I will buy Fez! Been looking forward to that one, I think I have have 800 msp so hopefully it isn't more than that.

I traded in ME3 and reserved Witcher 2. Gave me enough credit to get Fable 3, Crysis 2 and The Sims 3. Ended up playing Fable 3 a lot today. Pretty good. Can't believe I waited so long to get it, the first two Fables were favorites of mine. Now I kinda want to start up Fable 1 again. Been so long since I played it and I have the lost chapters which I never played before.

Ugh too many games..

Just saw. Commodore Founder Jack Tramiel dies:

Commodore 64 was my gaming console when I was a kid, and I really want to give thanks to him in being part of what made our childhood so fun.

I had never played on one, but the impact he had on the industry cannot be denied, and that's something to be thankful for. RIP Jack Tramiel.

mfw I beat Fez

Found 27 cubes and 8 anti cubes so I still got a lot to go. Some of the puzzles are so cryptic I'm not even sure where to start or if they are even a puzzle at all.  :dizzy:

^ Looks like a charming game and it's got some great reviews too. Might pick it up later.

Deadlight looks like it could be a cool game, like an atmospheric Shadow Complex

Speaking of 2D side scrollers, here's Guacamelee, a Metroidvania esque game, but with a luchador

Beat Saints Row 3 today. It was... OK.

Got 3 weeks till Diablo 3, so I'll probably play a short game in that time.

You should give Realm of the Mad Gods a try. Its a browser game and its pretty hardcore. Also if you use jsp you can make quite a bit of fg off it in preparation for d3.

The fact that my copy of The Witcher 2 didn't arrive today, makes me a sad puppy. :(

I need some suggestions for local multiplayer games for xbox360. I'm sitting down with a few friends on the weekend and we want to rent some games and have a good time, so anything from 2-4 players is welcome, fighting, (fun)racing, puzzles anything goes!
Only requirement -apart from mp- would be simple controls, we are all gamers of some sort, but we want to get into the fun and not waste 30 minutes learning the controls for a game.
Things we've played in the past: Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing, Portal 2, Dead or Alive.

If you have Guitar Hero or Rock Band then that might be a good shout, assuming you had the instruments. Maybe a sports game like FIFA would be good, again, assuming they're into the sport itself? Then you can have your fighting games like Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur or Street Fighter. But if you're looking for a good experience to enjoy, I'll throw Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 out there. That's an awesome co-op game, albeit a 2 player splitscreen one for local multiplayer. I've heard good things about Rayman Origin's 4 player multiplayer too.

Nah, Fifa's not for us but I'll put Rayman on my list. For some reason I thought it was Wii exclusive, never knew there's a version for xbox.

So where's the dancing minigame where you play as Piccolo dancing to "All the Single Namekians"?

Oh please, I want this to happen!

Got The Witcher 2 today. Great game so far, I played the tutorial and after making you learn soooo much stuff right up front they give you a final trail to undertake, a combat scenario to see how many enemies I can kill and how long I can last. So I did, and got my ass handed to me. The game told me to play it on Easy. Thanks. But I bumped it up to Normal anyway. :D

i bought skullgirls the other day - pretty sick looking fighting game (hand drawn anime inspired artwork) - also got NBA Jam on fire edition - i too was looking into games with local multiplayer...if they have it on xbox live, acrobatic supersonic battle cars or whatever it's called is pretty cool- basically you play soccer (or football depending on where you live  :nervous ) with little cars - pretty fun game (i had got it thru playstation plus and don't remember if it's a playstation exclusive)...i downloaded the beta for ghost recon future soldier but the ubisoft servers werern't working when i downloaded it

Good news to hear that Prey 2 isn't cancelled, just delayed until 2013.

got to play some future soldier last night - feels a lot like bf3 in the way the character moves and such (in other words a lot slower than in mw3) ...of course i'm playing the beta on ps3 while i pre-ordered it for 360, and i dislike playing shooters on ps3 (hate the controller lol)... not hating the beta but also not blown away by it....
