Thanks guys. I've read that using the transfer cable ultimately completely formats the old HDD when you finished with it which sounds...scary. Like what if it doesn't work? Also trying to find a bigger HDD that comes with the transfer cable, but some sites aren't even listing that.

But I don't think I had any XBLA games then, so you should check on that. Course, keep the original HDD to fall back on.

I think even if the games didn't transfer across, it's all dependent upon the profile you use to purchase them with. I know cause I had removed an XBLA game I bought once before and found I can download it again without having to pay for it. So, as long as the profile transfers across, I should theoretically be able to download them again.

I bought the Microsoft transfer cable when I bought a new 360 and my profile and saves transferred fine, but I lost my achievements in Bioshock. It wasn't a big deal to me since I don't care about achievements that much. That was the only game I was playing at the time, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. My profile was also causing Gears of War 2 to freeze.

I don't remember reading anything about the drive being formatted. If you transferred everything to the new drive, then yeah, there wouldn't be anything left on the old one. You do have the option to choose what gets transferred. So if you just wanted to transfer one profile to a new system, the others could stay on the first system.

Reading more into it, it seems I get a transfer cable with a 120GB HDD off Amazon and the transfer process is as easy as anything. Nice to know, but things took a sudden turn today with my finances so I'll have to hold off on buying one for now.

I wanna play Dark Souls so bad. So bad! But again I'm gonna hold out on it. Even if my finances were fine I wouldn't get it. Sounds like the type of game that will only be appreciated by a niche market of masochists (like me) and I can imagine the difficulty will either turn people off the game completely or force to trade it in early. So with that in mind, I'm going to wait for the inevitable price drop or if I see a pre-owned copy out there at a decent price. Think that might be more respectable. But looks good, I like the idea of myself against a world that wants to do it's hardest to kill you

I've been trying to save my money, but now I'm thinking about getting Dark Souls and maybe even Saint's Row 3. DS looks like the type of game I would enjoy and SR3 looks like a lot of fun. Since the last few games I played were Mass Effect, Bioshock, Deus Ex, and L.A. Noire, I want something light to play.

Lucky for us that did not happen, I had a lot of fun hours playing that on the XBox360!

Brock Lesnar makes his WWE video game return.

He looks small...compared to his days with the WWE.
