Just watched the Philia Type A DVD! Killer stuff, once again. I loved the instrumental section. It's amazing how tight they are. Teru's technical skills are through the roof.

Mixed feelings...

- Some parts remind me a lot of Dutch metal bands like Epica and After Forever
- It's lacking a 'key' melody... something which makes it instantly recognizable and catchy. Revenantt Choir, Princess, etc do have this.
- Cool bass parts, masashi is good

- Guitar solo is sorta generic as well...

Some parts are connected in a strange way, I hope the album version will be at least 9 minutes

Uch... I am not impressed with most of the stuff I've heard so far.

They should've spend more time writing new songs instead of working on that lame dorama

even though it was pretty funny.

I loved Philia though, but the snippets from the new album sound pretty stereotypical/generic...

What do you think Wawan?
