Stereopony to Perform at Sakuracon in Seattle!


It was announced today Stereopony will be making their fourth trip to the United States, and first visit to the West Coast, appearing at this year’s Sakuracon in Seattle, Washington!

The convention will be held April 6-8 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. Performance and appearance times will be announced at a later date.

It has been announced that Stereopony’s new song “Stand by Me” has been chosen as the Eureka Seven Ao ending theme. Below is a translation of the announcement on the official Stereopony website:

Stereopony’s song chosen as Anime “Eureka Seven Ao” Ending! (16th Feb 2012)

It has been seven years since “Symphonic Poem Eureka Seven” broadcasted!

Crossing over to this world with a “fresh new story”!!
“Eureka Seven Ao” starts April 2011.

Stereopony’s USA Tour Announced!


Stereopony’s USA tour was announced today! They will be making 3 stops through California the weekend following their appearance at Sakura-con 2012.

4/11 (Wed): Hollywood-Los Angeles – Key Club www.keyclub.com

4/12 (Thr): Santa Ana – YOST Theater www.yosttheater.com

Stereopony New Single: Stand by Me – 2012.5.30 Release

It was announced on the Official Stereopony Website Stereopony’s latest single, entitled “Stand By Me” will be released on the 30th of May! This is Stereopony’s 11th single.

“Stand By Me” is being used as the ending track to the new Eureka 7 AO anime and therefore will arrive in 3 editions; a limited edition with a DVD containing the PV for stand by me, the regular edition, and an anime edition that contains the anime edit of the single.

The title track is paired with one new song which translates to “wolf” and is a arranged with Serial TV Drama, who Stereopony previously collaborated on their third album More! More!! More!!!
Serial TV Drama broke up the evening before the announcement of the new single (March 24th, 2012) conducting their final performance. The track is described as a fast paced “rock n’ roll” song!
