PWINsider.com and others are reporting that Jim Ross' WWE Smackdown broadcast partner Taz is done with the company, and that yesterdays tapings were his last. His contract is reported to be expiring soon.

Taz, real name Peter Senerchia, started with WWE in 2000 as a wrestler but soon moved to announcing first on Sunday Night Heat, then Smackdown before eventually moving to ECW with Joey Styles, then back to Smackdown.

I watch lucha libre wrestling whenever I get the chance. Some of those wrestlers do some insane shit.

Wrestlemania tomorrow! This year's card is kinda weak. But hopefully they'll have a few surprises.

I'm surprised X-Pac is even getting by doing D-Mex I mean he's using his old attire just put those extra letters on lol. You'd think they would've busted him lol.

I like to think this years WM is gonna be ok. The only thing I'm looking forward to is MITB and Tag Title Lumberjack match everything else isn't as appealing. I also wonder if tonight JBL is gonna retire with the IC titls assuming he retains tonight cause that's the rumor going around.

Does anyone have this song, or know which version it is?

I've found a couple other of his theme songs, but none of them have been the same ones.

Funny thing about Mutoh, I had never seen much of him until a few weeks ago (Saw one tag match from NOAH in 2007), but years ago in the third or fourth Smackdown game, I made a guy just like him. He was a Mexican wrestler named Pesadilla. He was a smaller guy, but had red face paint with a crazy black design and matching clothes. Mutoh's taunt, handspring body splash to bulldog, poison mist, elbow drop, moonsault, and Shining Wizard were all moves I gave to my guy. I was shocked to see I basically made this guy without any idea of who Mutoh is.

Edit: I found it. MadSplash. com has a bunch of Japanese pro wrestling themes from NJPW, FMW, Zero-1, NOAH, Michinoku Pro, and a few others.

Undertaker vs HBK was so nice~~

I had faith it'd be sweet once Undertaker started walking the string.

I only started watching WWE when they pushed stuff like the corp arc, and Undertaker getting stephanie getting stuck on a cross. Rock and Stone Cold was still pretty active then. Weird days.

But haven't watched it for a few good years already (sometime around when Nature Boy showed up). I didn't even know most of the ppl that were at this Wrestlemania.

I don't know if I actually mentioned here or on the IRC, but a few years back I remember seeing a clip of Mick Foley on Wowowee, a Filipino variety show. He took time to promote the WWE's work with the Make a Wish Foundation which we at jphip are all familiar with, and the Raw house show that they put on. Anyway, here's the clip!

Wow all 3 world titles changed hands @Backlash. Not too thrilled that Edge is WHC again but at least he takes the belt away from Cena and he brings it back to Smackdown. I'm really glad Christian is ECW Champion even though that title isn't really considered a world title anymore. Idk Backlash was ok hopefully cause of this draft better feuds will start soon.

Not surprised that Edge won the belt. Part of the reason for having 2 sets of belts is so that both RAW and SD can have a champ.

One of the most underused/underestimated wrestlers ever, he'll always be the "King of Harts".

Well, I'm personally not really surprised considering he injured himself AGAIN during his latest comeback (which some online rumours say was due to Orton deliberately messing up a move because he doesn't like Kennedy). Guess they finally had enough with having to pay him for staying at home due to his being so accident prone.
