you can already tell that they are trying to start a women's division. Seems kind of early since they don't have a second hour, but i guess they know what they are doing. Not like they have to wrestle every week.
Btw Nice Alvatar

Thats what I was thinking also. I can't wait for a 2 hour Impact so they can have longer matches and more wrestlers can get some of the spotlight.

Your signature is awesome. I'm biased for anything with Reina in it. :ONluvluv1:

And i'm suprise The Briscoe brothers winning the GHC Jr tag titles(very rare to see ROH wrestler capture GHC title).

In which card did they win the titles?  I haven't been watching Noah lately, and it seems they were the only big promotion without a big New Years show.

Does starting a feud with McMahon mean that you're getting a major push?? Ever since I started watching only the big names stood up to McMahon, but in the last Raw I saw, it was Carlito who told him he's not cool. :P So does that mean Carlito's gonna get a bigger push now? Heh.

But wtf @ The Great Khali, yeah it's funny to see him because he's big, but his wrestling is still nothing but walking around, chopping around a bit, a kick and duh. Not very exciting -_- I mean I know close to nothing about wrestling, but that must be bad.

^Thats probably all Khali has, since he doesn't seem too mobile, just a big stiff out in the ring.
Yea, its possible thats one way for someone to get a push in WWE, feuding with McMahon, depending if thats the angle they're going for.

Another one who's been released by WWE is Tatanka.
They must must be really trimming their roster of mid-carders and one's who haven't seen any in-ring action in quite some time.

Edit:

Bam Bam Bigelow has recently passed away, he was 45.

:ONkneelbow: Bam Bam...  That's a real loss.  Bam Bam was great in the late 80's.  He was so large yet had great agility.  I remember him dodging an avalanche with a cartwheel.  His matches in Japan, where he tagged with Vader, were awesome.  Unfortunately, he was horribly mis-used in North America.  I remember reading an article about how, during his WCW years, he ran into a burning building to successfully rescue a boy, which left him with burns on most of his body.  He was one of the great under-rated wrestlers.

I couldn't agree more. Very, very sad.  If you ever get a chance, check out some of the matches he had during his time working in Japan. Good stuff. (He's also my favorite wrestler to play as in the old WWF Wrestlemania arcade game.)

Rest in peace, big man.

Face or Heel, Bam Bam was definitely one of the best "big men" to step in the squared circle in the last 25 years.  He was big, yet agile and quick. He never looked like he did anything without giving it his best.

RIP Bam Bam.

I hated him in the game, but I loved how he set the opponent on fire and went through the when he did his turnbuckle attack.

I'm gonna be uploading matches from NOAH's Departure 2004 event at the Tokyo Dome held on 7.10. I haven't watched these in a while, and I'm no wrestling expert, so couldn't tell you about all that stuff, but I did find some of these matches entertaining. Maybe someone who does know the stuff could write up a proper review of the matches.

There are 10 matches total.

I'm not too familiar with many wrestlers in Japan(um...I like Curry Man:lol:), so excuse me if I mess up a name.

First is Mitsuo Momota(The guy in pink) vs. Haruka Eigen(Guy in silver)

http://www.sendspace.com/file/asysmk

Tamon Honda(Black pants, left elbow pad), Jun Izumida(Black pants, red boots, and shoulder bandages) & Tsuyoshi Kikucki(Black and pink striped pants) vs. Masao Inoue(Red singlet), Kishin Kawabata(Black and gold singlet) & Masahi Aoyagi(Black pants)

http://www.sendspace.com/file/djgghe

(It's kinda funny how the refs count in English)

This is the list of the rest of the event, for anyone who wants to know now:
- Michael Modest & Donovan Morgan vs. Kotaro Suzuki & Ricky Marvin
- Scorpio & Richard Slinger vs. Akitoshi Saito & Makoto Hashi
- Akira Taue & Takuma Sano vs. Daisuke Ikeda & Mohammed Yone
- GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title: Naomichi Marufuji & KENTA (c) vs. Takashi Sugiura & Kendo Kashin
- GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title: Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs Jushin Thunder Liger (c)
- IWGP Tag Team Title: Yoshihiro Takayama & Minoru Suzuki (c) vs. Takeshi Morishima & Takeshi Rikio
- GHC Tag Team Title: Mitsuharu Misawa & Yoshinari Ogawa (c) vs. Keiji Muto & Taiyo Kea
- GHC Heavyweight Title: Kenta Kobashi (c) vs. Jun Akiyama

The NOAH's Departure 2004 Dome showwas a big event.  Like many Dome events, they padded the card with lots of non-Noah talent: Liger challenging the Junior Heavyweight champ, Takayama and Suzuki defending the NJPW IWGP belts against Rikio and Morishima, and they borrowed Muto and Kea from AJPW.

I've never really cared too much about the Noah or AJPW undercards.  But the main event fights look very interesting.  Kenta had come back from knee surgery in 2002 and won the belt from Misawa in 2003.  The Wrestling Observer gave him its Wrestler of the Year award in 2003 and 2004, so you can be sure that his match with Akiyama, who was almost-but-not-quite-at the Misawa/Kobashi/Kawada-level during the 90's .

I think (but am not sure) that the Misawa/Ogawa vs. Muto/Kea tag match was the first time that AJPW/Noah ace Misawa had ever fought NJPW/AJPW ace Muto.  Lots of anticipation in that face-off.  Kea was one of the few AJPW wrestlers who refused to defect to Noah along with Misawa, and was given a big push in AJPW as a result - he won the AJPW Triple Crown last year.  So that was a very big tag match.

^LMAO at kamei doing the 'dont fire eric' stuff.

Anyway those upload wrestling matches,is it full or clipped? (sadly i can't download because im in university campus lab) its a good way to introduce puroresu and Noah promotion to those who never watch japanese wrestling.

Back in 2004 Akiyama vs Kobashi, the feud was build for months and it was student vs sempai(They tag together frequently, kobashi playing the sempai role back in 90s era of All Japan and even winning tag titles together, having great great match against Misawa/Ogawa and Taue/Kawada).

It was Kobashi 9th defense after successfully defense it against the likes of chono, nagata and takayama.Everyone thought it was Akiyama time(the underdog) and fans believe Akiyama is the only one who can beat Kobashi(including me eventhough im a huge fan of Kobash,no heel or face here).

Check it out, because the main event will blow you away, theres ring pyschology and sick bumps, crowd was red hot.

Now that Misawa winning the GHC champion for the 2nd time(beating naomichi) and successfully make his first defense against morishima recently. And then Kobashi make his comeback after fighting tumor in his stomach or lungs i forgot,if misawa can defend it for quite a while i would love to see another misawa vs kobashi epic battle.

RIP Bam bam bigelow.

I half-assed Raw tonight

-HBK had a street fight with Edge (Edge won)
Edge pinned HBK after Orton used the RKO, afterwards, Orton threw Edge over the top rope and was about to Con-chair-to HBK, until Flair interfeered. Flair attacked Orton until Kenny attacked Flair, and then Carlito attacked Kenny. HBK got back up and Sweet-Chin-Music Kenny, Carlito, and Orton.
-Kenny faced Carlito
Kenny beat Carlito
-7-Person Eliminate Cena match (Great Khali won)
Prior to his match with Coach, Coach made an impromptu Over-the-Top rope Elimination match between Cena, The Worlds Greatest Tag, Cade/Murdock, Viscera, and Great Khali, with the stipulation that Coach's match only starts once Cena has been eliminated. Great Khali eliminated everyone except Murdock, who Cena eliminated.
-Cena faced Coach (No Contest)
Umaga interfeers and then body splashes Cena on a table from the top rope
-Micky James and Candice Mitchell faced Victoria and Melina
Candice pinned Victoria tp win for her team
-Jeff Hardy faced Joey Mercury (Hardy Won)
Nitro and Melina was removed from ringside after trying to pull off the mats on the outside, Jeff wins using a twist of fate, and causing damage to Mercury's face.
-Super Crazy faced Chris Masters (Super Crazy Won)
Masters put the Master Lock, of which Super Crazy reversed into a pin, Masters (not wanting to break the hold) got pinned.

I probably missed a bunch, oh well
