I agree. Back in the old days when ECW was held in dirty dark bingo halls, his gimmick was fun and his brawling seemed intense, but in the bright glare of international television (and under WWE booking), he's just a drunk middle-aged asshole. Like Terry Funk, but without Terry's great interview skills.

Jim Ross also said that he will not be in the ring in the future. Maybe sometime when a promotion is going on for a new movie

My Predictions for Wrestlemania

HBK vs Cena WWE Championship
-HBK, Cena's been champ for almost a year
Batista vs Undertaker World Heavyweight Championship
-Undertaker, his streak, the fact that RR winners tend to win wrestlemania
Lashley vs Umaga Hair vs Hair Match BotB
-Lashley, Vince shaved won't be as big a problem as Trump getting shaved
MitB Latter Match
-Randy Orton, the underdog
Melina vs Ashley
-Melina, cause unfortunately the Woman's Title is a RAW belt
Kane vs The Great Khali
-No Contest most likely, since the rivalry just started

This is one of the worst Wrestlemania cards of modern times I've ever seen. Cena sucks, and I doubt that even HBK can pull a good match out of him. I doubt Batista and Undertaker can pull out a good match either. Something good will probably come out of the MitB ladder match though.

The saddest thing is the only match I really care about is the hair vs. hair match. War Trump!

well yeah the card is terrible ewww its kind of hard to say it but yeah its terrible. Seriously though. If this was the card for WWE RAW and They advertised it.. I would not watch it lol.

Roxasu your preditions I agree with all of them lol. and @ chera i have absolutely no interest in the hair vs. hair match. on the bright side since wrestlemania is the biggest ppv of the year its very easy to watch this for free at clubs... friends houses.. family members. or online etc. In fact, I can't decided where I'm going to watch it. (it won't be internet) I prob go watch it at my brother house.

man that tna ppv was good earlier this week i prob watch it again tomorrow lol for the 3rd or 4th time. lol

um... anway wrestlemania. like I was saying its going to be free for me, and atleast It will be refreshing to see shawn micheals win the belt or something if he doesn't I'm not going to be watching WWE for a long time I'm protesting lol. -Wrestlemania Reversal Match 1: HBK vs JBL
JBL comes out and just rants for a while about the HBK vs Cena match and about how HBK hasn't superkicked Cena yet
HBK delivers his counter-argument, and finishes by superkicking JBL
Match never happens as JBL is still in retirement

-Master Lock Challenge: ECW World Champ Bobby Lashley
Bobby Lashley breaks the Master Lock, Vince has his men "escort" Lashley out of the arena

-Money in the Bank Battle Royale (Over the Top Rope)
Match came to be as a result of Edge losing his MitB spot when we got himself ejected from Orton's ringside on ECW
Ric Flair, Nitro, Super Crazy, Carlito, Val Venus, Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin, Viscera, Edge, Kenny Dykstra
Viscera is eliminated by all the other contestants at once
Edge leaves the ring and hurts himself
Super Crazy is eliminated by Haas and Benjamin
Val Venus eliminated by Nitro
Charlie Haas eliminated by Carlito
Benjamin eliminated by Ric Flair
Dykstra eliminated by Flair
Nitro eliminated by Carlito
Flair eliminates Carlito
Edge sneaks back in and screws Flair, faking the injury to be able to stay out of the ring

-Eugene vs Umaga
This match came as a result of Eugene spilling something onto Vince's shirt
Eugene is beaten by Umaga, duh
Vince then gets Eugene strapped to the barber chair and randomly cuts Eugene's hair

-Melina vs Candice Michelle Bra and Panties Match
Melina stips Candice in the match wooo
Afterwards, Ashley comes to the ring
After Melina hits Ashley, Ashley stips Melina's top
Khali comes out and Melina jumps Ashley, beats her, and leaving Ashley for Khali
The King hits Khali, making him drop Ashley, but is attacked by Khali

-Randy Orton vs Jeff Hardy
Orton is DQed when Edge comes to the ring and throws a latter in, Orton uses the latter to hit Jeff
As Orton and Edge call out eachother, Jeff sneaks in a Twist of Fate on Orton, and then sets up the latter next to the turnbuckle
Jeff then does a leg drop using the latter as a boost onto Orton, and Edge leaves happy

-1st Look at SC Steve Austin's movie Condemmed
A movie that is basically "Battle Royale" with criminal inmates
Austin and a buncha convicts are sent to an island to duke it out with explosive collars on their legs, the winner gets set free (sound familiar?) (Off-topic: It was confirmed that this is NOT the remake of Battle Royale that was announced last year)

So late last nite, TSN here aired a REALLY badly edited version the WWE HOF ceremony.

The whole thing was supposed to be 2 hours, we only got 1 hour.

We saw full features for JR, Mr. Perfect, and Dusty Rhodes. Saw no intro but did get Lawler's acceptance speech. Didn't see anything else for anyone else. :evil:

Feh, here's hoping the full show shows up on a tracker soon.

Wrestlemania 23 Results: Lets see how my predictions went

The ECW Originals beat the New Breed
The Undertaker's streak holds up, he beats Batisa and is the new Heavyweight Champion (Prediction correct)
Chris Benoit defeated MVP and retains his title
Khali beats Kane
Mr. Kennedy outlasts the other 7 to win the Money in the Bank Latter Match (Prediction wrong)
Vince is bald after Lashely defeated Umaga (Prediction right)
Melina retains the Womans Championship (Prediction right)
Cena outlasts HBK to retain the WWe Title (Prediction wrong)

3 out of 5 aint bad

It kinda sucked that they'd let Cena win over HBK via Tap out. Why are they pushing Cena so much? Bret Hart wasn't able to tap out HBK!

Undertaker taking the win is already a given. They wouldn't break his record, its his legacy.

Money in the Bank sucked. Too many participants, too many ladders. Should have stayed with 6. I really don't like Kennedy, wished it was Edge taking the win though. Give the belt back to Edge!

Wrestlemania highlights:
- The Money in the Bank Ladder match.
- The backstage dance party with Slick, Jimmy Heart, IRS, and RICKY THE DRAGON STEAMBOAT!
- Trump no-selling the Boogeyman
- The Hair vs. Hair match
- Benoit vs. MVP. Much better than expected, and that's the first time in years the swan-dive head butt has actually gotten the 3-count.
- The last 5 minutes of Cena vs. HBK, especially that stunning sequence that began when Cena put HBK on the top rope

Overall, it was better than expected. MitB was a fun spot fest, but it was a bit hard to cheer for it after Edge was stretchered out. Scary spot. The last match really made it all worthwhile. It went pretty well, marred only by Cena forgetting that his knee was seriously injured. I liked the theme of Cena, the stronger and younger guy, getting the better of HBK, the older veteran, in the punch vs. chop exchanges. The very end of that match was perfection. I wish HBK won it, but it was still a good ending. I also liked the ending video sequence where they showed thee clip of Ricky the Dragon Steamboat followed immediately by Chris Benoit. As usual, the best wrestlers are stuck in the undercard.
