YT Mirror:

Mariko: pretty classy, but not digging the skirt and heart marks.
Haruna: really pretty, aside from the shoes and tights, but I doubt you'll be looking at those much.
Kasai: do I even have to comment? FLAWLESS and gorgeous.

All very good, but Kasai won this round for me. [/bias]

Miichan: looks sorta cheap/easy, but I like the socks/shoes combi.
Yuihan: really good, I'm a sucker for white and the skirt/shoes match it perfectly. It doesn't need Haruna's coat at all, lol.
Sae: yeah, not really working for me on any level tbh. Especially the weird emoticon on the vest is really distracting.

Easy win for Yui

I wish they'd incorporate more members who haven't appeared in this segment yet. The running jokes with Sae etc are fun, but 6/6 girls have appeared before.

More next time: Itano, Sayaka and... I'm guessing Sashihara?

Terrific ep!

Mariko: Really nice and classy looking, but the hearts on the knees... wtf? xD
Kojiharu: Really nice, but almost a little too nice.

Kasai: Hot. This girl knows how to work it.

Also of note, I lol'd hard at Kasai's "watashi mo hoshiii~" and her getting the obusu sign.

Miichan: Cute but a little off.

Yuihan: My heart skipped a beat. I loved her outfit. Cute, kinda simple, nice colors, a little shoulder action... beautiful.

Sae:

I've liked her stuff in the past but this was hilariously bad. Gotta be trollin'.

And yeah, next week looks good. If that is Sashihara, holy shit.

Loved them all. Except Mariko's knee hearts which looked weird for me.

For Sae. The colors were all really bland, with weird stuff all over. Makes you confused if she wants to party or just got off work.
And does anybody actually wear Disney stuff before going?

I loved the half-time, when the dood was talking fashion tips.
Saying when you think of christmas you think of green and red. But you shouldn't use those colors without thought because it'll clash with the scenery. Then Miichan "Nooooooooes~~" and throws up.

Random thoughts:

- Itano: definitely nice, but she looks expensive.
- Umechan: the red jacket in combination with her hair is really nice. The one piece is a bit plain, the shoes are hideous... but somehow it really works well. The black bits tie everything together. I wouldn't mind taking her out like that at all.
- Rie: Hmmm...... really tricky. She look like she's after my money, and not in a high class way like Itano. I think it's the white coat, red skirt combi. Somehow, it looks a bit cheap.

Man, Yui is pwning in the background. SO PRETTY.

- Sasshi: DO STRIKE. I love it. The barrette is a nice touch. Nice mix of cute and sexy. It works really well imo.
I seem to like out of style/plain fashion. Yuki and Rena have it too

- Katayama: man, mixed feelings. They're using her for comedic relief only lately, which in the end won't do her much good as an idol. She can funny/interesting/hot without all this extravaganza and overacting... but she needs to do it to remain in the picture at all. Ah, it was her in last week's preview!
Sayaka: since her 'aura' is so powerful, it's nice to see her add some more casual touches. The hat is the icing on the cake. I think this works pretty well for her.

Sashihara won the ep.

I actually like the fashion sequences on AKBingo, but end up disliking the part where some of the members get put down.
Literally some of those girls are shakiing before and during their catwalk....they have to put up with the ranking all the time, and now it's their choice of clothes that may be the subject of subtle or not so subtle criticism. On another episode, Amina Sato looked so scared and uncomforable, and tonight Rie looked pretty bummed when they picked on her outfit, and yeah, it seems Haruka Katayama seems resigned to the fact that she ain't ever gonna get treated like a fashion goddess like Tomomi Itano does (All respect to Tomomi, she always does look great).

Of course, someone like Sae has the natural personality to laugh it all off, but not everyone out there is like that.

In the most recent episode, I think Sayaka really pulled off the big win, but I thought everyone deserved some credit for the various looks that they chose.

Maybe I am over reacting , but sometimes when I see some of those girls getting the treatment, I feel like, well sort of like, how Billy Jack felt in this scene:

Part of the fun in watching these fashion episodes are the put downs...for me at least

I guess the girls have their reputation at stake. Maybe that's why it's so important to them to put on a good showing.

Another great ep!

Itano Tomomi: Very pretty, looks classy. Very rich looking as Barrie said, though.
Umeda Ayaka. Cute, but quite fluffy.

I like it.
Kitahara Rie: Like the skirt. Nice and simple. Nice hair.
Sashihara Rino: Love it. Really really pretty outfit. Nice hat.

Also lol @ Sae and Miichan being all umadbro.
Katayama Haruka: Looks like a hooker costume from K Mart. The top is kinda nice, but the rest was bad. xD
Akimoto Sayaka: Not too bad, not too exemplary either. She looked aight. No strong opinion.

My personal winner was Sasshi.

I'm not too big on the palm reading episodes but having SKE and some HKT girls there might make it a bit more interesting.

The fashion shows are great. I enjoy these quite a bit. Let's try to give my opinions on the outfits in one word.

And of course sticking to how well it goes with the theme,

Itano: Perfect.
- Lots of class right there. Little details like jeans instead of a skirt and leather gloves are much appreciated.

Umeda: Warm.
- I like big knits. Not too fond on the shoes, but the color palette was nice.

Kitahara: Boring.
- The coat is nice but I would much prefer a natural color like Tomochin's. Otherwise nothing else noteworthy.

Sashihara: Cute.
- I thought the sweater didn't go with the theme but a good contrast to the black. I think backpacks instead of purses are cute. Nice legs, Sashiko.

Katayama: Hooker.
- Seemed to be trying a bit too hard. Pieces clashed and stuff. I thought there were too many things trying to catch your eye.

Akimoto: Good.
- Just good, lol. A little off for the theme, but I thought the sweater was great and the rest was good.

Nice~! I really like that they included all the xxx48 girls this time around. But I do wonder just how much the girls take these readings to heart. I mean, it's interestingly fun, especially for some girls since you know there are some truth to them. Like, do you guys still remember what Shimada said about Rena the last time she was present for the readings? He specifically mentioned a line which basically meant 'period of popularity coming soon'. That was at the start 2010. Well, what do you know? Just a couple of months later, MG comes out with Gekikara giggling then BAM! Rena's popularity launches into the statosphere!

My guess would be that Yuki, No3b, Mariko, and maybe Shawako would be in the top 10. Oh, while we're at it, maybe Acchan, too!
