Watanabe Mayu also commented, “As Maeda-san graduated, we, the ones who are left, need to make AKB….”, she then had to stop right there, as she could not hold herself, but cry. She continued tearfully, “I am very happy. While being proud of this, I would like to continue trying our best. Though we felt some pressure, receiving the award will make us gain confidence, and I hope it will bring another good accomplishment.”

Mayu have grown so much.. We can see it from the way she spoke, from her feeling, from her expression.. She really become mature now..
Yes, it's true that she must be feel so much pressure.. With this award, i hope will make her feel better, stronger.. I hope she can make it, not as Acchan's replacer but as the new ace of AKB48.. Just always support her.. Let the time answer it.. Go Mayu!

そんな気がして、とても怖かったです。
If we didn’t won the award, AKB may have been done for now. When I had that feeling, I was so scared.

大賞を受賞させていただいた真夏のSounds good！では、前田さんのポジションを務めさせていただきました。
In this Manatsu no Sounds good! that was able to win the prize, I danced in Maeda-san’s position.
この曲は、世代交代が表れている曲です。
This song shows the change in generation.
元々は、前田さんとペアでダンスを踊らせていただていました。
I danced in pair with Maeda-san in the first place.
でも今回は、私が前田さんのポジションへ。
But this time, I was in Maeda-san’s position.
しっかりと勤めなければ、と思えば思うほどプレッシャーに押し潰されてしまいそうになりましたが、ここで全部出し切らなければ意味が無い、と自分に言い聞かせて挑みました。
I was thinking that I have to do well a lot so I did push myself into pressures, but then I told myself that if I didn’t do my best here then it had no meaning and I fought.

この曲で大賞を受賞させていただけたら、AKB48はこれからも前へと進んでいける。

大賞受賞作品の発表で真夏のSounds good！のタイトルを呼んでいただけた時は、大賞に選んでいただけた事の嬉しさももちろんありましたが、何より、緊張、プレッシャーからの開放、そして一気に安心してしまい、思わず涙が出てしまいました。
When they called Manatsu no Sounds good! for the Best work award, of course we had the happiness of being chosen for the award, but over all, the freedom from worries and pressure, and being relieved at once, were why I unintentionally cried.
昨年の大賞受賞の時とは、また違った嬉しさと感情を抱いている自分に、今年一年成長できたのかなと思いました。
I wondered if I had grown up this year after last year, when I had the different feelings and happiness when we won the award.
