Anyway, since I'm so tardy in getting to the Mayu portion of
my trip report, you've forced me to show** the rest of my Mayu concert goods! I bought one of almost everything
**although I already tweeted the pic at the time 
I'm just going to highlight something here, because I heard reports from @bilingual48 that there was trouble at the airport with the crowd and security etc...

I watched the vid and can say there was a large crowd surrounding her - but Mayu did her best and smiled brightly and waved at all the crowd - the HK fans are so lucky! She did start to look a lil nervous at the end. One thing I can say for sure is that HK Airport (and Mayu's staff) really weren't kitting out and prepared for dealing with a celebrity like this at all. Hope this won't affect her future international travel.
As for the handshake vids - Mayu was shining so brightly as usual. I note that the handshakes were a
strict 3 seconds each. This is about the same as you get from a ltd ed national event AKB48 handshake, and a lot less than the theatre eds - which are 10 seconds each, and you can buy multiple in the same slot to buy say, a 30 second handshake. And of course, you can buy multiple in different slots to see Mayu a few times a day. So, if I were to plan to travel for a Mayu handshake event - I'd still make it a theatre edition one!
One curious thing is I saw one fan get a 2-shot... still within the strict 3-second limit, that was some fast posing and picture taking

conche, AKB48 doesn't do these often - the last was for 1830m (and that had an element of chance in it). However, every time Mayu releases a single, she has loads of "doki-doki" events - in the last one groups of fans could take photos with her - in smaller groups than the HK one.
Right, my "Mayu in HK" folder was bulging at a whopping 2.1GB last night... now to download all the new media today
