Sasshi was on fire! I did kinda think that it took her a few lines to get into the mood of the song though cause she didn't seem so confident in herself right at the start but then as the performance continued, just wow! And I dunno whether it was intentional but the jacket slipping off her should made it even more sexy.

Totally loved this performance so thank you for posting it

(Is it bad that I've never heard/seen the Itano version so I have no basis for comparison as to the original

I remember watching that (obviously unsubbed) and I really had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. I understood that they had drawn their drawings wrong, that much I got. I just didn't know that the hosts were comparing them to pubic hair

And yeah, Sasshi's reaction was totally the best

It's pretty awesome that Sasshi is Aki-P's oshi

I actually just came to a realization today. Sasshi is my number 2 AKB girl. I've never really been able to list who my favourites in AKB were in order. It's always basically been Yuko at number 1 and then about 20 other girls within AKB who I think are totally awesome all kinda in joint 2nd place

Anyway, for the past couple of months Sasshi had really made a strong impression on me and in turn that caused me to look for her more and more in performances and TV appearances. And a few weeks ago I was doing the poll for favourite AKB members and I put Sasshi as one of my choices but I said that, although I thought she was totally awesome I couldn't really say exactly why. It was just one of those things were you think someone is awesome but you can't find a particular reason why, if that makes any sense

But now I've begun to realize what it is about her that I find so awesome. First and foremost I think is that she just totally seems to love being in AKB48. I know that all the girls do but with Sasshi it really just does seem like an ultimate dream come true. Watching how she interacts with the other girls and how she behaves even when the focus isn't on her, it's just like she's totally having a blast all the time and trying to get the most out of every moment. I think it was watching the AKB Kouhaku that made me realize that it's her enthusiasm for everything AKB that is my favourite thing about her. She was totally awesome in her performance of Dear J but it was what she was doing while the other girls were performing that got to me. Most of the other girls watching were clapping along, some of them were moving around a little bit. But Sasshi was just practically doing full on wotagei in the background. And I really don't believe she was doing it for the benifit of the camera's or audience. It really just seemed like she was just caught up in enjoying herself to the max. And then of course their is her comic timing, her dancing skills, her determination (despite being 'hetare'

) and her ability to be mature, cute or sexy.

I guess in summary, Sasshi has totally stolen my heart and finally made me have to recognise that I do have a 2nd favourite in AKB48

Sorry for the double post, but I haven't seen this vid posted and I thought Sasshi fans might want to see it:

First up is Sasshi performing Everyday Kachusha with Akimoto Sayaka, Becky and 2 other non AKB girls who I don't know. Plus a couple of other AKB girls show up part way through, which gives Becky a real surprise

Then, Sasshi and 3 other people I dont' know do a 'Ayaman Japan' impersonation. Pretty awesome and pretty wierd to see Sasshi looking like that. I didn't even believe it was her at first. I had to check back on the vid to see if I saw it right

^Just finished watching that show. Lots of Sasshi awesome so definitely a necessary watch for Sasshi fans.

First, Sasshi should wear cowgirl outfits more often

Oh yes, she looked hot!

I'm actually always pleasantly surprised by how well Sasshi holds up on these variety shows. You get some Idols on these kind of shows, surrounded by lots of male 'tarento's' and they just seem to freeze. I've seen idols just sit there and hardly speak. But Sasshi keeps involving herself in the conversation and gets plenty of laughs.

When she was in the balloon, that was actually really creepy looking. Funny as hell but creepy looking. Especially when she was hopping

As for the soft serve bit, yeah, I swear I totally didn't think anything dirty. Honest!

That aside, I just love how Sasshi totally isn't afraid to look silly doing something like that. It makes me love her all the more

^I want to give you a huge big thanks for working on that translation (also to Swingthatthing too). Seriously that was an awesome read and if not for that translation I'd have been missing out on some really interesting stuff.

The first part was really interesting about her attitude toward handshake events. I forget what a wota Sasshi was/is sometimes and it was fun reading about her stories of attending H!P handshake events before she was in AKB. I almost can't picture it in my mind. Sasshi standing in line, getting more and more excited as she approaches MaiMai

And then as she says, it's given her a great perspective on her fans and their expectations and feelings when they meet her. So wonderful that she has that

And yes, the interview with Aki-P and her really was the best. It really gives a good look at how Aki-P helps these girls to grow and develop their personalities and the support he tries to give to them. And I think it's quite brave of Sasshi to lay out her feelings like that, especially about the things she isn't confident in. I truly find her fascinating the way that, to me, she has a real star quality when she's performing and really on top of her game, yet, deep down she doubts herself a lot. I sometimes see her as a front girl, more and more in recent months. Yet I get the feeling that she perhaps never see's herself as a front girl at all. Just a back up to girls like Acchan or Yuko.

Sasshi, how can you be so awesome even if you don't see it within yourself
