"I've been thinking about graduating for a long time. I am quitting so I can go to the audition for an anime that I really like. When they had an audition last time i was not able to go because I had an AKB job. The audition requires that I am not signed with any recording companies so I am quitting Mousa as well. I wish her the best in her future endeavors. She is doing what many wish: having a clear, absolute goal and taking the courage, the will, and strength attain that goal, no matter what the cost. She's taken her comfortable standing in AKB48 and decided to not only graduate, but also her agency, in hopes of improving her status and skill in her passion, the art of seiyuu-ism.

No matter what your viewpoint is on Nakaya Sayaka, the idol of AKB48, your viewpoint should be nothing but respect for Nakaya Sayaka, the person. I love the work you contributed to AKB48 and I don't know your feelings of pain of your decision, I will hope nothing but the best and happiness in your present and future days for the rest of your life. It's the least you deserved. Thank you.

I knew what was coming when I saw Sayaka's name in the "Show New Replies" list.........

But as 55Cyanides san ably states above, we should all respect her for going for this dream of hers. Will miss seeing her, sometimes with her glasses, performing on stage, or in skits, variety competitions, etc

卒業発表

本日3月2日の公演にて発表させて頂きましたが…

私、仲谷明香は3月6日の公演をもってAKB48を卒業します。

突然の発表となってしまい、本当にごめんなさい。

卒業は総選挙にランクインさせて頂いてから…いや、もっと前から考えてました。

でも、メンバーとお仕事が出来るのが楽しくて。みんなの笑顔を見れるのが嬉しくて。

正直この環境に甘えてました。

だけど、やっと決心出来る出来事に出会えました。大好きなアニメの声優オーディションです。もう始まってて。

受かる保証は全くありません。

でも、本当にやりたいことだから。この今の恵まれた環境を投げ打ってまでやりたいと思いました。

更に、AKB48だけでなく今所属している事務所Mousaもやめます。

声優オーディションの規約でプロダクションに所属していない方とあるので、決めました。

急な発表となってしまってすいません。本当にゼロからのスタートです。

でも今までやってきたことがあるから頑張れると思います。

これからも、仲谷明香の応援をよろしくお願いします。

Graduation Announcement

I already had the privilege of announcing this at today 3/2's theater show but...

I, Nakaya Sayaka, will graduate from AKB48 at the Theater show on 3/6.

For announcing it so abruptly, I'm really sorry.

I've thought about graduation ever since I had the privilege of ranking in the general election...no, even before then.

But being able to work with other members is really fun. Being able to see everyone's smiling faces made me happy.

Honestly I've been really spoiled by the environment.

However, finally an event came across that made up my resolution. A voice audition for an anime I love. It will soon begin.

There truly isn't a guarantee of passing the audition.

But, I really want to do it so. I will throw away this environment I've been blessed with up until now.

Furthermore, not just AKB but I'm also leaving the agency I'm attached to, Mousa.
I made the decision because the voice audition has a rule that says you can not be attached to an production.

Really this is a start from zero.

But because of the the things that have come along up until now, I think I'll be able to persevere

From now on as well, please support Nakaya Sayaka.

First off, I'm quite sad to see her leave AKB48. Nakayan has been a top favorite of mine almost the entire time I've been into AKB48. To see her go is truly a loss for my personal fandom. But beyond that, I've got mad respect for her decision here. It's passionate and quite reckless.

There's no guarantee she'll get this role she's wanting, but she willing to give up a spot in the top idol group to do it. Then again, I bet she realizes that she's gotten what she needed out of AKB48 and isn't going to get much more. AKB0048 proved that. I'm honestly annoyed by how little her character is seen or heard from. I know the spotlight doesn't shine evenly on everyone, and the more prominent seiyuu are doing a superb job, but sheesh, throw Orine a bone!

I wish her the best, I think she definitely has the talent to make it.
