I just wanna give props to Ariyoshi. I wasn't that familiar with him when he was the MC in Nemousu. He came across a bit smug and I didn't think he was all that funny. However, after all these years I must say he really is funny. His interactions with Sasshi and Haruna are just priceless. He knows the group and some of the girls well enough to make jokes related to their character and past, which makes the impact that much higher.

There's a reason why Ariyoshi is the most liked male comedian around these days.

He's very abrasive, but he's also funny as fuck.

Ariyoshi was on a recent ep of the Shabekuri 007's 2.5hr SP (120326).
He said how great it was to do shows with AKB48. Because the viewers are all just AKB fans.

When checking Twitter, there's 0 comments about him. Everything he says, even if he's bad-mouthing the members on the show, doesn't really matter because it's like the viewers can't see/hear him. He just feels like the invisible man and can freely do anything he wants.
