Still can't believe that Kojima Yoshio graduated from Waseda with a degree in education, but then again didn't Meetan also graduate from (a different) university and have teaching credentials? Would be interesting if either/both went in to teaching later on though it probably won't happen.

Feel bad for the less promoted girls actually in AKB not getting this amount of push, but maybe they had their chance and blew it already or it was too long ago. Still, Waseda's a top university in Japan, so I can't blame anyone for using Shiori's success as extra PR for AKB. Waseda's probably going to do the same thing, if not now, maybe later.

Trying to figure out who Shiori reminds me of now.

This ep was slightly better than last week's. I like Shiori a lot, but I can imagine it being a boring ep for those who don't.

regarding the acchan part with all the "acchan clones"...

anyone else though atsuko herself was kinda half-pissed and creeped out about the whole stint? just reading her body language here, and she wasn't exactly LOLing.

Yeah she didn't seem very pleased when the clones rushed in. That segment wasn't that funny.

Tomochin, on the other hand, had gone mad impersonating ducks. Not to say it wasn't cute. It was very.

I'm a bit disappointed with this ep. Anticlimax.

- They barely showed anything of Yuki's bit
- Yuki getting hit on the head 16 times isn't funny
- Of course her light will pop up every time she gets hit on the head
- "award ceremony" was sorta rushed too

Tomochin and Acchan bits were ok. Shinoda's bit was really violent :S

In other words, it lacked the 'clever' jokes like we saw Ume, Kasai and Ayaka do the previous time.

Last week's Myao Dai Circus ep was sorta weak. I dunno, I enjoyed the previous one more. Myao looked pretty though, despite funny make-up.

Was that Yuki penalty game for real?! Sorta strange

Totally agree on everything you said. The moment I saw Hata during the test episode, I was really hoping they'd do an entire Shukan episode on her. I'm shocked and ecstatic they actually went ahead and did just that.

Some of the previous episodes were a bit disappointing, and this one really helped get me back "in the mood," I guess.

Just goes to show what I've always seen in her appears to be true. Shawako is really diverse, and there's more to her than meets the eye. I really don't understand how anyone could say she doesn't have talent. Aside from all of the things she displayed in the episode, despite some camera phobia and a quirky personality she gets on stage and nails whatever she's doing. Check out a concert or KII LoD. She's consistently awesome. I'm really, REALLY happy that she's getting some push.
