Maasa wraps her arm around her
She feels no pain
She floats in the air

Tears from her face
She feels the wound
Opening wider
Deeper and difficult to sustain
Only seeing her right there

Sitting on the bench
Waiting for a girl
She looks around seeing a hooded person
She lifts it up to see her with glasses
She smiles and hugs her for being brave

As she looks at her younger friend
Tears in her eyes
Tries to cheer her up
With no success
She takes her on a trip
To learn more about each other
The end of the day ends in a kiss

She dreams of her partners
Feeling alone
She gives her a call
For hours they express their feelings
Sun goes up and a deeper sense of knowledge

However, she is with another

As she watches everyone walking by
As she pleas, no one is there
Until a familiar face appears
Offers help
The fear in her eyes
As trust builds
She sees the improvement
While she may go back to her wrong ways
It hits her hard as the person who helped her was once like her

Trying to adjust
Konno seeks her safety
She ventures into the library
Finding a book and sitting down
Not knowing the person next to her
Is observing her
She scoots closer and feeling her hand on her thigh
Konno hears the whisper
“Is it fun to study?”
“Only if you are alone”

Reina in her self-concern
Sees herself in a bad place
Seeing the warriors
She wants to run but ends up trapped
Until a women from the shadows attack
Leaving the yankii as is
Finding the woman
Was closer than she expected

Imagining the end
Realizing the present
Recover the past
Why they were here in the first place

The two realize an end to a wonderful day
The indecision to step up
Or leave it
The elder girl ponders
The younger waits
Both notice the sun setting
And the younger one makes her move
Seeks the opportunity
To fail miserably
As the elder girl watches her
Fall into the sand
With her lips touching
Both smile
Before the last sign of light goes away
