Basically for those who don't know, NINKI is a poll that Oricon does that shows interest in future releases. The number (in SCANDAL's case, 18) is an approximate index of how many people out of 400 are "interested" in the release. (It does NOT predict sales or ranks, but it gives a good idea of how well a release may rank.)

oh my, seeing these stats makes me feel that the chances of getting 1st is slim, but who knows? maybe it will still spark a surprise for us.
