Just watched Loups=Garous and the band feature quite a bit in it.

Music wise you probably are already aware that Midnight Television is the opening theme and Sayonara My Friend closes the film - but Koshi-Tantan is also used as an insert song complete with an Animated video of the girls! And as a subtle bonus, one of the main characters, Mio, is a big SCANDAL fan who is seen wearing some of their different uniforms throughout the film. She also has a Kanta backpack and another piece of unique Kanta memorabilia that I won't spoil for you.

Having said that this is not really a SCANDAL film so if you are going to watch it just for them you maybe disappointed, but Anime fans should enjoy it as a piece of work on its own merits (especially since it's from Production IG).

Yeah. Not really disappointed if it's not a SCANDAL movie. The story is great.
It made my want to read the novel.

Some thoughts: SCANDAL performances were energetic and awesome as always. They played 4 songs: Shunkan, Koshi Tantan, Don't say lazy (with Shoko Nakagawa), and another covered song I don't know (in which Rina actually sang some lines). I like Koshi Tantan performance the most. Mami stole the performance when she pulled the lighting thingy from her vest to wave with the crowd, which ended up in her mouth when she had to play the guitar again. And then, Haruna had to pull it off Mami's mouth later on

Other artists were so-so. Firstly, I'm not quite interested, and secondly, some are down right silly and weird like the childish group LISP. I'm not impressed with Shoko Nakagawa either. Her high pitch voice is not my taste when she talked, and her movements when performing were a bit awkward. She looked like a cosplaying girl singing karaoke and dancing to the song. I guess it's just the difference in cultural perspectives.
Oh, and there's Mikuni Shimokawa singing FMP 2nd Raid OP which was quite nice actually.

I don't think it's so much a difference in cultural perspectives so much as individual taste, perhaps, and what you expect in someone who is a musical artist; not all of them are performers, and similarly, not all performers are great musical artists (eg Britney Spears, from way back when). Personally and not speaking for anyone else, I find that SCANDAL, on the other hand, do set themselves apart as a band as a whole, performance and everything, and the attitude to go with it.

I just watched it and am a bit disappointed.
IMHO it lacks the usual SCANDAL flair we're all so familiar with.
don't get me wrong, the song is nice.
however it just looks a bit low-budgeted.
like come on. they're big stars now, so why put up a PV using such a plain backdrop like in Space Ranger?
maybe the kids who cut all that confetti were overpriced?
yeah, well i can't translate the song, maybe the plain-ness had something to do with the song's meaning.
