OMFGBBQ!!!1!ELEVEN!

Like, they totally can't rush through the corridor, nor bully their schoolmates, and they like they have to sit down and -glabs- listen to their teachers so they can get good grades!!! Otherwise they are like, failing!! OMG!!!

And, since boys are -naturally- inclined towards behaving like monsters, they are discriminated againts girls!!! Ooooooooh poor kids look I'm crying right now!!!!

It's not a joke. There do really exist dumbasses like this in the world. Good Lord.

Quote from: The macho man version of Flora Tristan
''The system is designed to the disadvantage of males," Anglin said. ''From the elementary level, they establish a philosophy that if you sit down, follow orders, and listen to what they say, you'll do well and get good grades. Men naturally rebel against this."

Awwwwww he's so cute.

Well women are discriminated against in the (legitimate) job market so it evens itself out.

These people whining about equality between males and females  It gets to the point where you're accused of being chauvinist bastard for acknowledging that men are different for women.

Ever heard of the difference between "equality" and "homogeneity"? Geez.

I don't want to be the exact same as my neighbour. But I want to have equal opportunities. Call me a whiner, yeah.

Girls are so NOT discriminated in the work place, men are.  Where I work I MUST wear dress pants, dress shirt, tie, black shoes and a black belt.  Fucking females walk around wearing whatever they want.  One girl wears WINTER BOOTS!  I asked the Manager why and he said "because she's a girl, they have a different dress code."  WTF so that allows them to wear winter boots in a place where all the men dress professionally?

Differences in dress code isn't really discrimination.  Not when you look at the many, many, MANY cases of how women are often paid less than their male counterparts even though both are doing equal amounts of work (both in difficulty and amount).  And don't forget that male workers ususally don't have to worry about sexual harrassment (e.g. being propositioned by the boss, and having your job threatened if you don't "cooperate").  Many people these days are so focused on their own jobs, that they don't notice when this happens, and thus they say "it doesn't happen at my work". Bullshit.  A co-worker of a friend of mine had it happen to her at least once in each of the last 3 businesses she worked at (she's a major babe, her husband's a fuckin lucky bastard).  She really likes her current job, and she's had no problems so far.  But with those previous three, it just got to a point where they weren't paying her enough and they weren't respecting her enough for her to stay.

Of course the opposite does occur too. If a man and a woman are equally qualified for a promotion, the woman will get it 100% of the time. Of course that is in Canada. Don't know how it applies elsewhere.

How about if you are female and a engineer, you might get like 10 job offers before I even get a freaking interview because female engineer is so rare that every company want them to balance out the male/female population of their department.

i was an honours student. and i actually appreciated the 2-1 girl-boy ratio. and actually girls are smarter than most boys as they usually work harder/put more effort into school work.

why? girls can focus on school work. boys just talk about skateboarding and video games. girls want to get together and do group study sessions. boys want to get together and have LAN parties.

how do i know this? i was a boy. i was in honours math and science in highschool. and we constantly held lan parties. the difference between me and most of my friends is that i did homework before going to the lan party. they didn't. therefore i get better marks. conclusion: it's all based on how much homework students do. most boys do homework / study less than most girls. therefore most girls are in honours and most boys aren't.

what if a girl wanted to wear a tie?

..oooh, yeah. She wouldn't be allowed because she has a dress code. Hellooo, common sense.

I loved to wear ties as a kid, and they suited me well. But then, people gave me strange looks.

A girl wearing a tie is still more business casual than fucking winter boots.  They are in no way shape or form business casual but she can wear whatever she wants because she's a girl.  Head office wouldn't yell at her for wearing a tie, but they would for the boots.  Sadly head office rarely visits and the managers couldn't give 2 shits about it.
