Jessica Lynn Horn (born July 7, 1977) better known by the pseudonym Jessica Chobot is an on-camera host and staff writer for IGN.com Entertainment.

Jessica Chobot became an overnight internet sensation when a tongue-in-cheek modeling photo of her appeared online licking the Sony PSP in 2005. The photo has been widely parodied since, even appearing on Sony-branded advertising.[2] Supplementing her love of videogames is an obsession with Japanese culture, specifically anime and manga. In 2006 Chobot was hired full-time by IGN.com to take over hosting responsibilities for the network's IGN Weekly show which is no longer running. Her segments included stand-up introductions as well as "woman-on-the-street" pieces. She now hosts a daily show entitled , "IGN Daily Fix", the first episode aired March 23, 2009. While Chobot is the main host of the show Fran Mirabella and more commonly Daemon Hatfield have been known to host as well. The show does a weekly Friday giveaway asking questions about random fun video facts, the winner receiving a video game. In addition, she contributes columns, features and reviews and her IGN blog is one of the most visited on the site. Chobot is also a former contributor to FHM UK, Mania.com and has made multiple appearances on G4's "Filter" and "Attack of the Show." She has also hosted a videogame preview segment for Fuel TV’s, “The Daily Habit,” and co-hosts on Lifeskool TV’s, “Gamer’s Dojo.” She also contributes as a weekly guest on Maxim Radio, where she answers caller questions for an hour each Monday.[citation needed]

Chobot has appeared on commercials for ADV’s Anime Network On Demand cable station, lent her likeness to Symbiote Studios Toy Company for two limited-edition anime-style sculptures. In addition, she has modeled for the J!NX female gamers clothing line. In 2006-2007, she co-wrote a sci-fi script with writer/director/creator of Tron, Steven Lisberger, for Soul Code.[3] Current collaborations include an anime-style collectible figurine in development with Symbiote Studios, a representative of JiNX.com women's apparel line. Chobot is also writing the "Ask Jess, Dammit!" blog for Maxim[4].She was named the 88th most desirable woman of 2008 by AskMen magazine[5] and 14th hottest woman of business 2009 by Business Pundit.[6]

Dear God, that is a pretty amazing question. No, I don't think that. That's weird. There's a lot of good girl gamers out there--plenty before I came out on the scene that deserve the title a little bit more.

What do you think when you hear that term "Gamer Girl" used?
It's a mixed feeling. Part of me does the eyeroll and the sigh and the "here we go again with this." Part of me likes it because without that title and trend a couple years ago, I probably would have never gotten a job.

What's it like to be a female working in the game industry?
As a female, to start out in this business isn't for the weak of heart. There is good and bad. The good being that there's not a lot of us and because our main demographic is men who would like to see a female on camera, you get more opportunities. But a bad part is that you're also a target and there's plenty of people that take advantage of that, especially on the Internet where you can be anonymous.

How do you feel about the way females are portrayed in games themselves these days?
I never had a problem with it. There's plenty of ridiculous male characters where no man could possibly attain that physique or amount of cool, just as no girl could attain that natural size of huge breasts and run around in nothing but underwear. But games have always been about fantasy, so I never really take it too seriously. If the guys are made to have 12-packs and huge arms, girls can deal with a little bit of T&A as well.

Looking back, how do you feel about the PSP-licking picture?
I don't want to say I hate it, I definitely don't. I think it's a hot picture and I'm thrilled that it became a meme, but it drives me crazy that some people still think that's the only thing I have to offer.
