Chapter 13
Chase 3
If you happen to pass by the royal garden pavilion now, you will certainly not miss that sugary grin that was plastered on the sole occupant’s face. Maybe a little frightening as well with the occasional giggles seeing that it is only almost dawn.
Our lucky brat definitely did lose some sleep the previous night but is not showing even a single down syndromes to it. In fact, from that little sleep that she had, she is considerably energetic this morning.
Of course like the perfect date, if you considers them as dating just in the Princess very own backyard, she offered to walk the girl back and since they were already in the Princess’s residential area, inevitably the destination would her chamber.
A separated compound from the main palace ground, the royal chambers rather than a structure of its own, it is an extensive area that consists of several standalone houses for each individual. Unfenced it may be and only guarded by merely two guards at the Torii gate, the area is strictly out of bound. Protected magically, other then the resident, the area is only accessible to those invited or given special clearances.
No woo ha that she did not receive an invitation. It would be rather shocking if she had actually gotten one from her shy girl. Alright. Maybe not very shy. The ultimate surprise for the night happens to be that Ai was the one that stepped up to her for a goodnight kiss. Did anyone mention that there were guards?
“You’re sparkling.”
“Ya……” she basically replied without processing the information
“I mean… literally” her girl was eyeing at something on her shoulder amazingly
“Oh… that…” with a nervous chuckle, she waved off the tiny firework show over her shoulder.
“Sorry… can’t help it…” smiling sheepishly, she continued as Ai giggled.Coincidentally, on her way back, she saw Reina making her way back to Ai. The air surrounding the kitten was charged up so high that they were cracking into tiny electrical sparks. Much like her own tiny firework show, they were just some insuppressible energy due to high emotional levels. Reina stopped in her track when she noticed her, maybe still a little shaken by the previous encounter. As she walks passed the unmoving kitten, she raised her hand to ruffle the girl’s hair a little before softly wishing her a good night with a grin. If the big meanie is reduced to a sparkling softie, her dorky puppy probably is glowing mad like a slivery sun. And…she was right. It was so bright that she had to cover her eyes when she got to her room the night before.
Talking about restlessness, apparently she is not the only one. Despite awakening even before daybreak, her pup was already not in the room.
Risa relaxes to the peaceful surrounding as she watches the first rays of sun appeared over a distant. Sunrise and sunset, everlasting cycles it may be, but it never ceases to take her breath away whenever she finds herself caught in the moment.
A soft smile made its way onto her face the instant a familiar flora scent filled her sense. It was not long before a pair of arm encircled her neck loosely and felt her captor leaned down to press the side of her cheek against hers, locking her in an endearing embrace from behind as they watched the orangey globes chase the darkness away slowly. Regrettably, their bodies were separated by the low wall of the pavilion.
“Beautiful…isn’t it?”
“Am I beautiful?”
“HA! I knew that was coming.”
“Not the reply I was looking for but at least you’re not ignoring me. Am I becoming too predictable or what?” the brunette pouted exaggeratedly.
“Maybe.” Ai grinned as she pats the little brat’s head like a kid.
“Come over here… you have been standing for some time now.”
Even though Risa is very much enjoying being trapped by the Princess but standing in that position for a prolong period can be pretty uncomfortable.
The Princess was making her way to her usual spot when the brat pouted cutely and invited her silently for a cuddle with open arms. Of course Risa is not going to exchange the previous closeness for something lesser.
Ai pretended to give a thought about the invitation while eyeing the growing frown on little kid’s face. She smirked as an idea came up. The raven girl shrugged and continued to her seat. Risa now pretty much had a face that looked like she was being abandoned. Deciding she had enough fun torturing the girl, Ai opened her arms with a warm smile and giggled as the previously dejected girl brightens up instantly and made her way swiftly into her arms.
“Meanie.” the brunette stuck her tongue out before snuggled back closer to the Princess.
“You still got what you want anyway.” Ai replied as she wraps an arm around the slender waist from behind and pulled the brat’s chubby cheek with her free hand.
“Actually…It’s even better.” her voice a little muffled by her stretched cheek.
“Why are you up so early anyway?” Risa continued, sounding more normal after Ai had released her hold on her now slightly redden cheek.
“Why are you up so early too?”
“I’m always earlier than you.”
“True…I’m already starting to think that maybe you camped here to wait.”
“You make me sound like a stalker…how about……fate brought us together?”
“I might need to rethink about my faith then.”
“Meanie.” even so, the girl was smiling into the Princess’s neck.
Ai pretty much still had the grin right from the start.
THEN…
There came that familiar rustling sound from those very same bushes again.
“Reina or Eri”
“I’m going for my kitten.”
“If my puppy comes out first you are going to owe me a kiss.”
“Deal.”
The bet is on.
Eyeing the bush intensively, both girls waited.
Three…Two…One……………
Two screaming and giggling semi-human cuties dashes out of the bushes almost at the same time followed by a polar bear cub and at last place, a black bear cub. Unexpectedly, they had four contestants and maybe a draw but if you looked closely, Reina was slightly in the lead.
“We have a winner!” Ai cheered.
Even though Risa was pretty disappointed by the results but was distracted by the current commotion.
The two girls had their hands linked and had a brush on their free hands as they ran around giggling hysterically. Chasing them was the polar bear. The black bear was basically just observing them interestingly from the pavilion too.
“You have a polar and a black bear here too?” Risa mused.
“Arr…actually… they are pandas… the agitated white one is probably Jun and this one is probably Lin…Reina kinda like to paint them up whenever they are hibernating” Ai smiled sheepishly as Risa laughed out loud.
It was not long that the two girls were forced to split up as the white panda gain on them. Unfortunately, Eri, being the slower one of the pair, got targeted. Seeing that the ferocious panda was gaining up on her fast, she screamed and rounded the corner sharply before running up toward where the kitten was.
“REINA!”
Dropping the brush, the kitten immediately charged up to the screaming pup, closing the distance in milliseconds with a trail of purple static behind. Hauling the pup up from the ground with just one arm around her waist, Reina brings her free arm up close to her chest.
“Legs up!” seeing that action, Ai yelled and Risa compelled without questioning. Even the black panda had jumped up on the seat frantically.
With a cool backswing, a bolt of purple lightning shot out and hits the ground before spreading out across the whole area.
Risa’s eyes widened a little as the strong electrical charges pass through the pavilion ground in a purplish flash. Not life threatening but you definitely would not like to get caught in it.
In an instant, the commotion died down.
Placing her legs back down only when she saw Ai doing so, Risa turned to where all the action had taken place.
1. Reina is still frozen in her cool pose
2. Eri is still hauled off the ground by Reina, directing an admiring look at her savior
3. Jun is stilled with her back flat on the ground and paws facing the sky
“Nana…” a displeased voice was all that broke the moment.
“Sorry!” a squeaky apology that broke number 1’s coolness and number 2’s attention. Number 3 remains.
The brunette got off the Princess lap obediently when she releases her hold on her to get up. Risa was just trailing compliantly behind Ai as she walks up to the trio.
As they approached them, Risa was sure she had a face that screams “You are in deep trouble! Haha!” for Reina was half between trying to scowl at her and cowering from her master’s stern glares.
“You can put her down now.” displeased voice still. Apparently, Reina was still holding onto Eri unknowingly all this while.
Reina shoved Eri gently behind her after she had placed her down carefully and turned to her disappointed master with her eyes downcast.
“Your Highness!” Reina’s eyes widen in shock as Eri suddenly stood up in between she and her master.
Eri knew it was inappropriate to meddle with the whole master and pet affair but…Reina was actually trembling which would have gone off unnoticed if not for that she had one of her hand linked with the kitten still. Eri could not help but squirmed under those watchful emeralds. However, her façade lifted significantly into a sincerely determined look after she saw her master had both her fists clenched near her chest with the “Go pup!” look.
“Pardon me, Your Highness. I know it’s unrefined of me to interfere but it would be unbecoming of me if I do not step up for the one that protects me. I mean no disrespect but I’m willing to take the full responsibility.”
Eri squeezed her eyes shut preparing for whatever punishment when Ai swiftly raised her hand up.
“Eh?” her eyes shot open when she felt the hand scratching the back of her ear, surprised to find the Princess’s previously sternness replaced by the usual gentleness.
“Brave puppy……” the pup giggled as Ai ruffled up her hair.
Moving closer to the pup, the raven girl leans up to brush her lip lightly on her cheek.
“You can call me Ai” the girl said as she moved back.
As for Reina, she is currently really having a hard time deciding whether she should be more jealous of her master kissing her pup… or her pup receiving a kiss from her master. So much so that she had her cheeks puffed out cutely with a frown on her face.
“Awwww… don’t be sad… I’ll give you a kiss too” Risa teased as she holds Reina in a death grip and attempted to kiss her. The kitten screams as she tried to keep that mocking pervert’s lips away from hers.
Both Ai and Eri laughed at the hilarious scene. Reina now had both her hands pulling Risa cheeks as she leans back as far as possible from those lips that almost resembled the mouth of a goldfish out of water.
“How long more do you intend to stay like this? Determined, ain’t you?” Ai mused.
“You kissed my pup so…it’s only fair if I kiss your kitten too…don’t you think so?” came the muffled voice from the overly stretched mouth.
Catching the quick wink from Risa, Ai decided to play along.
“Hmmm………” the Princess pretended to take the suggestion into consideration causing her kitten to panic.
“True… and since she has been misbehaving………” The poor kitten was almost on the verge of tearing up. Once the order is out, she will have to oblige to it.
“Come on kitty…be good… it will be over in a second!” Risa said as she doubled up her effort to get the kitten.
“Gaki-san! Let go…Let go… Let go!” Eri palmed her master in the forehead so much so that Risa had to face upward as she tries to pry off her hands away from the kitten.
The raven girl almost laughed out loud seeing that Risa’s face was being distorted in a hilarious way from all the pulling and pushing. It was interesting to watch but Ai decided to step in when she picked up the incoherent meowing directed straight to her mind.
“Come on…break it up babies…” Risa pouts. She was having a lot of fun.
“Stop teasing her already. Come here Nana…” And so, the brunette reluctantly let go of her new toy. Almost immediately, her kitten hides into her embrace.
“I’m sorry Ai-chan…I will be more careful next time” Reina knew her master had no problem with her playing pranks and stuff but she just need to have better control over her power.
“I’ll get Risa to kiss you for real the next time you attempt to electrocute me.”
Reina nods vigorously.
After instructing the two cuties to clear the mess before joining them, the two masters went ahead for their morning walk.
“Is my kiss really THAT bad?” Risa nudged the Princess lightly with their linked hand
“Yup”
“HEY!”
The grin on the Princess’s face was totally swiped out when the brat abruptly pulled her to the off the main trail and moved in swiftly for a kiss, passionately. Bit by bit, Risa pushed gently until she found herself backed up against a tree.
Since the Princess declared her previous kisses as
bad, then…it’s time for lesson two.
Risa nudged lightly on the innocent girl’s lips with hers before sucking tenderly at the bottom half of the slightly opened one and felt a wisp of hot air blew against her face as the girl exhaled deeply.
Gingerly, Risa brushes her tongue against the entrapped lip, drawing a shuddering deep breath from Ai before the girl granted entry unsteadily. Ai unconsciously pushes up against her captor and felt an odd whimper rising from her throat as the delicate softness passes through into her mouth and began to feel hers
Risa almost wanted to lose herself into the kiss when that sweet softness started to caress uncertainly against hers but this was not about her. It was about her girl. She patiently allowed the girl to get familiar and more confident to their unique dance before withdrawing her tongue little by little, seducing the other into her mouth.
The kiss was unhurried, undemanding, experimental even but utterly arousing.
Pulling apart, Risa presses their foreheads together and watches as her girl catches her breath. Risa smiled sweetly as the girl opened her eyes lazily.
“It wasn’t that bad…was it?”
“That’s cheating you know” Ai pouts cutely, her voice still slightly unstable.
“What?” Risa like always, faked ignorant.
“I won~”
“Yaaaa……but you see… If I win, you owe me a kiss and it is only right that I owe you one too when you win…… I’m super fair… don’t you think so?”
“I hate you”
“You know you don’t mean that….” For your information, Ai’s hands are still tightly wrapped around her neck as she leans in again but not quite yet touching those lips, teasing the Princess. Risa smirked into the kiss when she successfully got Ai to bridge the distance and willingly submits herself to the sweet kiss the innocent Princess was giving her, which tells her a totally different story from the girl’s previous words.

CHEERS! For once Reina is not being mentioned as the slowest runner ever.... LOL~ I guess many were like "EH?! the slower runner.. Eri!?!?" but since.... I had Reina's element as lightning..... She have to be fast! Isn't it cute that Reina manages to outrun Eri for once?
How come i'm starting to feel that my Ai-chan is getting so complicated? Even i'm getting a little confused by her actions.... <- The horrifying fact coming from a blur writer...
Probably Gaki-san had awaken something she might not be able to handle later on... Seeing that she is slowly losing her teasing battle already.....
I hope Ai-chan is not too weird for you guys~
ps: I realized kissing scene is a pain in the ass to write... LOL!
