The crying girl walked away and into nowhere she goes. Without any specific direction, she walked and walked. The previous scene she witnessed was so heartbreaking. She couldn’t take it in at the moment. It made her hard to breathe. It made her hard to think things through. Just like a gushing waterfall, her tears were freely flowing. Not minding her surroundings nor the stares that people gave to her when they past by her, she continued to walk whilst crying in silence.
A loud and long honk echoed and awoke her slumbering soul. Turning around, she saw an eighteen wheeler heavy truck carrying logs a few meters away from her.
“Watch where you’re going!” shouted the irritated driver while giving out a piercing stare at the surprised troubled girl.
After regaining her senses back, not entirely but enough not to act as a walking soulless creature, she flagged down a cab, gave the address and sat at the back seat in silence, thinking nothing, doing nothing, just sitting there but not quite being there.
“We are here.”
She snapped back to reality after hearing the hoarse voice of the cab driver. She paid the fare and went inside her home after.
“Finally” she whispered followed by a deep sigh. She took off her shoes and neatly placed them back into the rack, took off her coat and hung it on the hook.
“Tadaima” she uttered but no one answered. She then proceeded to her room. It looked so empty and lonely. Her tears were threatening to fall again but she held it in. Not knowing what to do, she sulked in one of the corner of her quiet room. The last heart wrecking scene played again inside her head as vivid as watching a movie on a high definition TV. The tears were no longer controlled and they flowed down her cheek in a quick smooth glide.
Wiping her tears away using the back of her hands, she stood up and proceeded to the table by the corner. She turned her computer on and waited a few seconds as the device booted up. Clicking a few icons until a desired window opened, she started to type.
