Governor, 84, resigns amid group sex scandal

One of India's most important high-tech states has been thrown into turmoil by a sex scandal involving its 84-year-old governor.

Andhra Pradesh has been shocked by the resignation of governor ND Tiwari, who stepped down after a local television station broadcast pictures of him in bed with three women.

Mr Tiwari has dismissed the allegations as lies and says he is stepping down for health reasons.
