This is an account of how my morning got started on September 20, 2010:
“Expect the Unexpected”
So, early this morning my mobile phone starts beeping and I think: ‘Wow, the time to get up came awfully quick this morning!” I grab my phone (because I also use it for my alarm) to press the snooze button and I see “ message received.” Looking at the time I thought, who in the world would be sending me a message at 1:50am?” I open it and to my surprise I see: Yuri_TGSJP: # TGSlive! Sleepily, I thought how did she get my number? Than I remembered I joined her friend list on Twitter. Immediately I jumped out of bed and ran to my computer and signed into Ustream and waited for the show.
The first few times I watched I was not a member of Ustream but, this time around I had made an account and I was able to chat with them!!! Right around 2am (my time) the broadcast started and I saw them gathered around a table talking and checking out the Ipad. I didn’t type much because I was mostly listening and watching. My first message was to my favorite, Yuri Nakae: “Yuri-chan kawaii!!! \(^o^)/” and a short time later she said: “Arigato gozaimasu!” while holding her phone. I was watching and she set her phone down and smiled. Just as she set it down my phone blew up with a message from her!!! It was: Yuri_ TGSJP: (--;() #TGSlive. I thought “Awww what a sweetheart! She sent me a text flower!!! She IS my favorite of the group!!! This is actually pretty cool! I am going to have to hang out with them more often!”
Than I typed “Tokyo Joshiryu ganbatte kudasai!” in which I got no response- but that’s ok! Soon there after, they moved off cam and Yuri jumped in frame and says “JAAN!!!” and she had her hood on her head which had ears like a dog on it!! I bursted with laughter because she was SOOOO adorable!!! Then she started barking and meowing that made her SUPER CUTE!!! I was floored with laughter and tears!!! SHE IS MY FAVORITE of the group!!!!
Than they sat back down and played a game with a pirate in a barrel that they stuck plastic knives into. Guess who won? If you picked Yuri, you are correct!!! I was cheering and clapping for her! She was the only one not to “stab” the pirate and make it “jump” out of the barrel!
Sadly, time ran out and they we sitting down to eat at the end of the broadcast. They said their goodbyes and they went off the air. However, a few minutes later when I was just about to turn off my computer and go back to bed, Yuri blew up my phone again!!! She sent this picture she took with her phone:
In closing, even though I only had a few hours of sleep today, I was in very high spirits. I really enjoyed interacting with them for the first time. As for how Yuri Nakae became my favorite, she has a certain “shine” that she carries which I see and like. I it kind of hard to describe but the first time I saw them in thier first video she just stood out from the rest to me. And it wasn’t because of her hats that she wore in the first two singles. I am going to love cheering for, supporting Tokyo Joshiryu, and watching my favorite Yuri Nakae also the rest of the group, grow up.
