For me, it's rather a unique concept for them to recruit two dancers for their performance.
But I"m eager to see where this concept will bring them.

Okay, so here is something interesting. This was just announced on their website:

Gacharic Spin Guitar and Bass Design Contest!

Basically they are asking people to design a bass for KOGA to play and a guitar for Tomo-zo to play.
The winning designs will be presented at the scheduled one-man live at Shibuya O-East (July 15).
You need to send you design by mail, either on a postcard or an A4 paper (about the size of a regular magazine).
On the back of your drawing/design, you need to write the following:
- Your name (in furigana)
- Location
- Occupation (if you are a student, you write the name of your school plus what grade you are in)
- Phone number

You send your design to the following address:

Contest date: April 1 until April 30

^Interesting! Can we win something or is it just for bragging rights?

It's strange that ESP Guitars hosts this contest... As far as I know Tomo-Zo is endorsed by PRS Guitars.
On the other hand, it's the Academy so perhaps Koga is involved there somehow or other.

As far as the band goes, a singing drummer and two dancers??!

Good question! The website just says that the designs will be revealed at the one-man. It would be amazing if they actually MADE the guitars, though. Who knows. Perhaps only bragging rights. Still, a pretty original contest! Very fan-friendly!

A singing drummer does seem pretty rare to me, I love how they've actually placed her front center in parts of the PV 8D but singing while drumming ... that must get really tiring at concerts :S

Never really checked out DOLL＄BOXX but I MASSIVELY prefer their songs over Gachapin's! They're improved so much and I dig the new vocalist!

In other news, I bought an EPIC piece of Tomo-Zo "memorabilia"... It should be here within a week!

But it's not! It's a limited edition, Japan only, PRS SE Custom 24. It has a korina body, which is pretty fancy

The quality is superb. If you can look past the color it really has top notch specs

It's very different than my other guitars. It feels small due to the shorter scale length, but that also makes is super easy to play. I'll try to shoots some vids later!

Hey how much was that PRS? I have a Japan-only 2001 Ibanez RG-770 DRD FM that I ordered from a guy on ebay who specializes in Japan-only guitars and it is absolutely awesome!

So I looked up that Disney compilation they were a part of, and this album looks amazing tbh. BiS is also featured with a cover version of Someday My Prince Will Come

I need this album in my life.

A second full album has been announced, the jacket and track list has been posted on twitter - no news on their official site yet.

I am not sure what I think of these CD jackets they come up with for their albums ^^;

Tamadrum Japan has also released a set of Hana signature drum sticks! With all of their hardware promotions and learn to play DVDs, you sort of wonder how much money they make from this sort of stuff compared to the actual band activities/CD sales ... anyway.

Gachapin did their second show in the US last week, did anyone here go see them?

Yes, they've been a part of the band for quite a while now! Their official role within the band is as "performers", according to their official profiles.
