Momoiro Clover Z had a great night last night on the New Year's Eve Kohaku Uta Gassen show.
Hosts Arashi and Maki Horikita were mighty impressed by the Uber Genkiness of Momokuro,
and audience was really in support of the girls. Good job, girls!

Please watch this post before it goes......Momoiro Clover had their own songs in the second half of the show,
but in the first half they acted as support for Takashi Hosokawa as he performed 'Naniwabushi Dayo Jinsei wa'

The girls put their all into it, and it made the performance fun for Hosokawa san and for the audience. In fact the entire night had a theme of the young and the older mixing together- support segments with the younger artists backing up the older artists, and many Olympic medalists (from the summer Olympics in London) introducting artists that they personally liked.

As Kohaku is usually a blend of pop music and older tradtional music such as Enka, putting the young and older performers together worked well. Much credit to the producers and artists, including Hosogawa san, and Momokuro:

I'm not sure where you heard this, Momoclo are indeed holding a concert at Nissan Stadium - but nowhere does it say anything about with AKB48.

I wish I had liked them sooner (only really start paying attention after Saraba), seriously they're one of the best idol group with their energy and performance level on stage. Yep after a few days of watching their shows and concerts non stop I'm definitely a big fan now
