Summer Dive 2011 (Special Subtitled Edit)

After Akari graduated, Momoiro Clover added a Z to their name.
With it came their first album Battle and Romance, which would be performed live in their very first Summer Dive in front of their biggest audience yet.

On April 18, Momoiro Clover Z member Sasaki Ayaka announced via their Ustream channel "momoclo TV" that she has fractured her left lateral malleolus after falling down during the shoot for TV program.

On "momocloTV", she said, "I have something to tell you Mononofu (the fans) with my own words." She continued, "Today, I fell down during the shoot for Kansai TV's 'Mujack', and fractured my left foot. Though I went to the hospital right after the shoot, I was told that I would not be able to move for 2 months."

As she has also fractured her left lower leg back in January, Sasaki apologized to the fans, "This is rather shameful than regrettable, but I will do my best as much as I can during the 2 months, so I can see you guys looking healthy fast. I am truly sorry everyone for worrying you."

On April 29th, Momoiro Clover Z's Sasaki Ayaka attended a public recording for the anime film 'Saint Seiya LEGEND of SANCTUARY' (June 21st release).

Sasaki recently fractured her left lateral malleolus during a shoot for a TV program and will need 2 months for complete recovery. She made her appearance in a wheelchair and wearing a long pink dress to hide her cast.

Sasaki was treated like a princess, being pushed in her wheelchair by her co-stars. "It's not very common to have someone dress me, so I'm happy," she said with a smile. She also reflected on her accident "I fell down in an open place. It made me think of myself as really slow-witted."

Ishikawa Kaito, Akabane Kenji, Ono Kensho, and Okamoto Nobuhiko also attended the public recording.

In celebration of the birthday of popular anime Sailor Moon's protagonist Tsukino Usagi, a special event "Tsukino Usagi Birthday Party in Special ViVi Night" was held on June 30.

During the event, popular idol group Momoiro Clover Z who will be singing both opening and ending theme songs for the upcoming "Sailor Moon Crystal" anime, performed the first opening theme from the original series, "Moonlight Densetsu".

Many fans were wearing goods from Momoclo's concerts along with the official fan club's white beret.

The familiar 'overture' from Momoclo's concerts was played and the audience stood on their feet. At this point, the silhouette of the members appeared in the center of the stage, and alas MomoClo appeared to sing the original theme "Moonlight Densetsu" and ending theme "Tuxedo Mirage" while clad in Sailor Senshi-inspired cosplay.

Furthermore, ViVi models also walked the runway dressed in heroine-inspired outfits, while the cast from the musical performed a mini show.

It's been revealed that Momoiro Clover Z has been selected as the opening act for Lady Gaga's concert at QVC Marine Field (Chiba) on August 14.

According to sources, this was requested by Lady Gaga herself. Her North American tour has drawn attention as BABYMETAL and Hatsune Miku were chosen as the opening acts.

Lady Gaga is also scheduled to hold a concert at the same venue on August 13. Both days will feature Lady Starlight as the special guest.
