12-year-old Jasmine Roberts is a seventh-grade student at Benito Middle School in New Tampa.

When it came time for her to choose a science project, she wondered about the ice in fast food restaurants.

the article definitely makes you think twice about eating out at almost any place. but, something that has less bacteria, doesn't necessarily mean it's "cleaner"

I did an experiment in school, where I cultured bacteria found in the nozzles of the water fountains and the results were GROSS. which is why I never drink from there after that, unless I really really really have to...

It doesn't necessarily mean that ice in fast food restaurants isn't clean... Maybe they just have clean toilet water in Tampa

Good thing that if I eat out I always ask for no ice in my drinks.
