Minori in the next Yakuza game surely? She doesn't even have to be a hostess girl, she can be a female Yakuza

An English interview from the press conference in Singapore

Quote
Q: In that case, why is it that Ebisu Muscats are disbanding at this point?
EB: Our mentor has advised that it is optimal for us to disband while we are at our peak (of popularity).

Yeh I don't think I'll ever understand that. Maybe it's just me but it sounds like the girls can't even explain it. Or maybe they're just not under instructions not to give any further info than that.

Minori as a Yakuza game hostess  :inlove:
I would love to see Minori in any media.  Music, film, not so sure of AV...Saw one but I got hit like L4verra and Rina.

Anyone see this? I can't embed, but it's Rio playing Binary Domain (which I have never heard of). I thought it was weird that it was on the Yakuza YT channel, but turns out the games share the same creator.

I've never heard this Binary Domain but I'll definitely find and play it. It's awesomely cool
I love Rio's expression when she played that game (especially the disappointment when she's targeting an enemy but other player took it down ) and I'd love to agree with initial
I would love to have a sleep over at Rio's place and watch her play games.  She's so cute.
:D

So far, I only have a PS2 so I can only play Yakuza 2 with Yuma as a hostess girl there. But I'd like to play Yakuza 4 & 5 with Rio and Nanako in the games, IF Sega makes PC platformed Yakuza series..  :D

I would love to see Minori in any media.
Minori in media with no AV related, here, http://www.ponycanyon.co.jp/pptl/
Haaaaa.. I want to watch it so much.. Minori's vacation is the only one that I haven't watch it yet.  :banghead:
Seems like you have to buy the DVD, about 3500 Yen.   :nervous

The ladies were also asked on what sort of qualities they have on their ideal boyfriend, of which their response was a guy with a great smile, dressed well for the occasion and perhaps watching a sports match together; basically enjoying each other’s company.

Remember this?

So this quote plus this photo means...

 :shocked

...i gotta take Minori to the Staples Center :P

Besides, I asked most of the Muscats on Twitter this question:
Quote
とんなNBAチムが好きですか。
Basically asking what each girl's favorite NBA team was. Needless to say, no one responded...
I really wonder how some of the Muscats would act when you take them to an NBA game. We all know that initial wants to take Haruka Ogura to a Milwaukee Bucks game, and we all know I want to take Uruha Mizuki, Aino Kishi and Mui Kuriyama to Lob City in Los Angeles.

Imagine how loud they would be when they see how many lobs are thrown...heh heh 8)

Minori looks so good in Lakers-Purple.

oh, something I randomly ran into while searching Yuria Satomi.  I noticed she doesn't have a page in the RLD so with a bit of self-censoring this is what I found... :w00t:
I'm pretty sure Akiho and Kishi have done a film with this same premise.
she looks so great in the plaid skirt and brunette wig.

from Yuria's blog...
Hey I thought the blonde girl was Shizuku Hasegawa, because if she was I would have been like WHOA :shocked

But recently I went on my weekly excavation of Muscat-related videos, and I found a few here.

Like, there's a new trailer of the Body Temperature film with everyone's favorite MIA Muscat, Rin Sakuragi:

Acky is throwing an audition for the next upcoming AV idol who could take her place (?) and maybe you might win 1,000,000 yen or something?
I thought someone took her place? *cough*Kana Yume*cough*

And then this...I don't, what...what the hell is going on here :bleed eyes:

And then this video of Rio some dude took from Youku and just posted on YouTube, which allows me to raise a few questions...

  • If you saw the trailer for the movie Spring Breakers (the risque film with Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens), it seems like a perfect film for one or two of the Muscats to star in. Question is, which one?
  • Ever watch James Bond films? You know how there's always a leading lady who seems to personify sex appeal? Whom of the Muscats would best fit that role?
  • Who has the best chance of success with a future solo career once the Muscats disband?
  • I've asked this question before, but since the last episode, whom of the Muscats needs more screen time or needs to step their game up?

Allow me to begin:
  • Fitting in with someone like Selena Gomez? A Disney star? None other than Rina Rukawa. This is, I guess, a supposed good girls gone bad film, with the girls looking good in bikinis as well. I originally had Rio as my answer because she could fit in with this film, and can do so perfectly, but after thinking about this question, Rina looks too much like she would be a good girl gone bad. Dead serious. And hell, imagine Selena Gomez and Rina Rukawa...
  • A coin flip between Akiho Yoshizawa and Manami Yamaguchi. Acky has that sex appeal that works perfectly in a James Bond film, and for some odd reason I could see Manami pass in this role as well. Maybe it was due to her risque gravure videos? I dunno... :P
  • Rio, without question. Why exactly is because I've seen her in more things outside of AV (film, music, etc.) more so than any of the other Muscats, with Westbrook coming in second. If there's anyone who can survive without the Muscats, it's her 8)
  • Ms. Brooklyn. Since she is buried on the bottom in terms of airtime, it's rare to see her do anything on the show. Yet the last performance with Anna and Hana caught my attention, and I'd be stoked if I saw her step her game up in the upcoming next episodes :)

Is that 2013.2.23 the date that movie will be launched or something? Or maybe exhibited at Shibuya? Maybe it will take 2 or 3 weeks to get uploaded.
But, is this movie will be slightly AV related?  :?

I actually found that male version of Honey Trap some times ago, but.... I found it too awkward to share it here..

OMG OMG OMG Rio! So adorable...  XD
Is that an interview about Rio's new movie? (not AV one)

  • Who has the best chance of success with a future solo career once the Muscats disband?
  • I've asked this question before, but since the last episode, whom of the Muscats needs more screen time or needs to step their game up?
Since I don't know much about Western movies, I'll hit the 3rd and 4th question :D
My best guess will be Rio and Aoi. Since Rio is, yeah you know, nearly 'perfect' in voice, physical look and etc etc. And Aoi is already famous in the range of international entertainment world.
And for last question, I'd like to vote for Airi Kijima and Anna. They don't have enough screen time on Muscats weekly show, especially at minigames (like the last one is japanese cabaret club show), they don't have any chance to show off.

And this is what I found last night before I went to sleep,
Quote
Held somewhere within Resorts World Sentosa, nine of the ladies came to the stage for an introduction of themselves as well as a quick Q&A session with the media presented at the press conference.

Question: Welcome to Singapore! First off, what are your impressions of Singapore thus far?
Ebisu Muscats: It is a very clean country, and the people very warm and nice towards us!

Q: Why is Singapore being picked as one of the slots for your Asia Tour?
EB: Because we love Singapore! :laughs:

Q: What do you think of the fans in Singapore?
EB: There are a lot of comments from fans in Singapore, and through their response and comments, we have the impression that the fans here are very warm and friendly!

Q: What are the biggest challenge Ebisu Muscats have faced throughout its career?
EB: As you know, it is Ebisu Muscats’ first time performing  in Singapore, and thus we feel that not knowing the audience’s response is one of the biggest challenges for us. We also hope that this is a chance to entertain the audience and make it an enjoyable and fun experience!

Q: So for this tour, what have you prepared specially for Singapore fans? How long did it take to prepare for this Asia Tour?
EB: It’s a secret! :giggles: It took us 2 months to prepare this time for our Asia Tour.

Q: It has been announced that Ebisu Muscats will be disbanding this coming April. What do you feel about the disbandment of the group?
EB: To be honest, there have been many false rumour of our disbandment all these while, right up until recently where it is official. And it came as a surprise, since all these while many people have the impression that the official announcement might be just another rumour as well. Of course, all of us are a little sad about the news. But our mentor told us to treat it as a new beginning of our future careers, and to have a positive outlook on the challenges ahead.

Q: In that case, why is it that Ebisu Muscats are disbanding at this point?
EB: Our mentor has advised that it is optimal for us to disband while we are at our peak (of popularity).

Q: Any future plans for your careers after disbanding?
EB: We are happy to be travelling to Singapore as Ebisu Muscats, but we also hope to be able to do the same in the future individually regardless, and be able to perform in Singapore once more.
Nishino Sho: Recently I’ve been involved in a film based in Thailand. As I love to act, it would be really great if there are career opportunities to be able to act in Singapore as well.

Q: What is Ebisu Muscats charming point in attracting their fanbase?
EB: In Japan, we are not only portrayed as a multi-talented idol group branded with the sexy image in mind, but also our forte in variety shows with comedic elements. For Singapore, we wish to portray ourselves as sexy, cute and multi-talented idols. Another strong point is that each of our members have very individual personalities that appeal to different guys, like cute and energetic, matriarch/sister figure of the group, slightly ditsy, and so on.

Q: Do you have different feeling performing at different locations during this Asia Tour?
EB: It is currently winter in Japan and very very cold, while it’s humid in Singapore. Since South Korea was pretty much the same weather as Japan, we immediately felt relieved (from the cold) when we reached Singapore.

Q: Any special beauty regimes to share with us?
EB: Actually, I have gained a bit of weight recently :laughs: Just eat a lot, and sleep a lot.

Q: Do you exercise everyday or have a workout regime?
EB: We don’t really exercise much, but we make extra effort to keep ourselves in top shape during preparation of our live concerts.

The ladies were also asked on what sort of qualities they have on their ideal boyfriend, of which their response was a guy with a great smile, dressed well for the occasion and perhaps watching a sports match together; basically enjoying each other’s company.
(taken from sgcafe.com)

3 points if I may take from that interview :
  • That media is very very lucky to be able to meet them  :banghead:
  • Nishino will star a movie (not AV one, I think)
  • this is a pict that comes with the interview

'nine of the ladies came to the stage'... nine of the ladies came to the stage.. Where is the 10th lady? Where's Rio? and based on the pict, where's Yuria? They're promised to be there
(sorry for the long post, I've made it as short as possible) :D

Rio couldn't make it because she was filming a radio show at the same time and couldn't make the same flight. Yuria was sick to be at that press conference but made it to the concert. As you can see here as they thank the crowd for coming out. With an English translator too so you can understand what they say, even if she does get confused and loses track at times. Rio's English is just....

To answer L4verra's question...

1. I'm assuming the movie is about two innocent looking girls going bad? Well...any of the AV Muscats fit that role  I'll agree with Rina for this one.
2. Gotta be Sola. She just oozes sex appeal.
3. Rio. She's the most popular as is and she has a good singing voice too, perhaps the best of all the Muscats. Sola is pretty popular outside of Japan too so I think either have the best shot.
4. I wish Ai would be more active. She's too hot to be in the background all the time.

Yamanaka sounds nice speaking English.
Sho was cute when she almost interrupted the translator.
Minori's 'thank you so much' is so cute
Event he translator was cute when she forgot soem of the words
I gotta get to L4verra's questions, they look like fun to answer.

After reading that transcript, it certainly makes sense why they'll end their run after this long.  They want to leave on a high note which is actually good.  I have to say that they're the only idol group that I really enjoyed.  I don't think there will ever be another idol group with this sort of "uniqueness".

1:  I've always liked the cute duo of Aino Kishi and Rina Rukawa.
2:  I can easily imagine Rio as a Bond-lady.  Her character's name would be Clarisa Toris (get it?)
3:  I think Aoi and Sho would continue their activities in Asia.  Besides them I see Kishi able to get on variety shows.
4:  Brooklyn needs more screen time.
They should have an episode where they kick the Front-Girls to the back.  I think it would be funny to see how some girls, Hana, and others would try to entertain.
