Finally home.. and sure there're a lot of things happened here

But first let me say

to our new member here, illnerdism. Yeah, you sure know a lot of things about the Muscats. It's never too late to be a member here since we can still share anything about Muscat anytime

The feeling that I get is that the older girls have been in the business long enough to know how to make living out of it. It's not like the Muscats gig paid much to begin with - during the last 'Press Conference' episode, it was revealed that they each only received ¥5000 per taping (1 taping = about 4 episodes, so that comes out to about $13 per member, per episode) and only ¥5000 for each live gig. Even OgiYahagi were taken by surprise at how little they were being paid. So most of them were probably doing it for the exposure and the camaraderie. I've seen Ando and Kuriyama, in particular, mention having to work part-time jobs but I imagine that more of them doing the same thing and just not talking about it. Actually, on the latest episode of Mui's radio show that L4Verra posted, Haruka was saying that she doesn't have anything going on post-Muscats, but she lives pretty thriftily - all of her clothes are handed down, she lives with her parents, and she plays Dragon Quest X all day and never leaves the house.
I'm interested about this fact. The fact that every member only get JPY 1250 per episode. I think a successful celebrity/artist always get well paid for their each performance on TV, but.. Yeah, that's different from my expectation. No wonder if (my opinion) they try the 'different way'. Maybe they see the image of Sora, Rio, or Acky, and other successful AV stars.

I found that the behind-the-scenes documentary DVD from the last concert(s) in Maihama has been ripped and posted online. This DVD was sent to people who bought both the 'Abayo' single and the Graduation Album (I think). It's a shortened "digest" version, but should whet the appetite for when the full concert DVD is released at the end of July.

Hm.. I opened the link but I can't play the video. What's wrong?

But anyway here are some videos of the Muscat's Hawaii trip, from Sho's channel
Maybe if they make a full trip documentary, it'll be great

even it's only self recording, fine for me.
My guess is that they all use stage names. But the degree to which those differ from their real names seems to vary by how 'taboo' their line or work is. So all of the AV Muscats have stage names that are probably nowhere close to their actual names. A few years ago while surfing through an OneMasu forum on 2ch, I saw that someone posted a high school yearbook photo of Rio with the name 'Suzuki Mitsuko' underneath and just about all of the replies were LOLs at how old-timey and ordinary her name is. Some others I saw posted: Aoi Sora (Suzuki Miho), Nishino Sho (Tanaka Megumi), and Hatsune Minori (Sakashita Marino). I have no idea how accurate those are.
Do you mean this picture?

I shared this picture on this forum at pages 80's or 90's. I don't know how to read those kanjis and shared it here, hoping that someone can translate those kanjis, and now I get the answer, thanks to illnerdism

Well, I haven't been so up to date about this Muscats due to poor internet access in the village I stayed in

WOAH! I really miss them, and the feeling when I was waiting for their new singles, PVs and Onemasu episodes.
