Well, I don't know what to say about that video of Aoi, but.. what's with her? Was she just a guest star for that video? Was she also one of the main singer (and dancer, well, that dance seems a bit awkward for some parts )
I, personally, like Aoi in pink (from the same video) more than when she's dancing with that short white hair.  :nervous

Merry Christmas to all the Muscat supporters! Hope it's a good day. To celebrate, here's some Muscats dressed up and ready to climb down your chimney later tonight (I wish..)

We all do wish that, Tuffty, we all do..
The first picture, the second girl from left isn't an ex-Muscat, I believe, but looks like I ever seen her in somewhere  :?.
And for the second picture, who the.. ? Manami?? Looks like someone else

And Merry Christmas for everyone..

Hoho.. I just found a good picture (taken from someone's twitter account which is retweeted by Aika)

P.S :
Looks like EbiMasu's production house will launch some new DVDs in 2 days.

I believe it's Mayu Nozomi, who also works for Ideapocket like those 3 ladies.

More festive cheer!

The three DVDs in the box set are going to be available individually in a few days.

Apparently, she's a member of a group called 'JAM' in China. I think she spends more time there these days than in Japan.

That's 'shine', the Muscats' official illustrator (@7shine7 on twitter). I love his work. And the guy is a true fan, continuing to do Muscats related art despite the group no longer being together. I found some cool ones while going through his twitter.

Holy crab!
Those illustrations are fantastic. Shine must be a fan of Kasumi Kaho, I found some of his illustrations are single pictures of Kasumi

Purukawa vs Jessica  XD

I love this cute illustration, Rina's grin FTW

And this is what happened next

And what's this? I know that's Kobayashi P but the other one..
And what's with that hand gesture? What's it supposed to mean on one of the Onemasu's episode? I still don't get it until now.  :nervous

Oh damn, this 'shine' is an amazing guy as an artist
then I found this

What the heck??

I love Shine’s ability to capture likenesses. None of his caricatures even have noses, but you can tell exactly who is supposed to be whom.

I think these are pretty great, too. Animation!

... Choco-la-ito Di-su-co :)

And what's this? I know that's Kobayashi P but the other one..

The other guy is Gou, one of the title characters from Kobayashi’s latest show, GouRaiGan.  It’s a late-night tokusatsu, guys-in-rubber-suits kind of deal. Kawamura Rika and Rio both have roles. According to Rika’s twitter, the final episode just aired this morning. I caught the first episode and I'm kind of captivated by the girl in the lead role, Shinkawa Yua :inlove: But the show itself is pretty goofy. Here it is - you can catch the rest on dailymotion if you're diggin' it. Neither Rio nor Rika appear in this episode, unfortunately.

And what's with that hand gesture? What's it supposed to mean on one of the Onemasu's episode? I still don't get it until now.  :nervous
About the gesture, I’m assuming that it’s some sort of one-liner made popular by some comedian. Faddish one-liners and routines are big in Japanese comedy and OneMasu likes to recycle them. A lot. This makes sense given how connected the staff are to Japan’s comedy scene, including OgiYahagi and Okubo-san (who is half of the comedy duo Oasiz). The gesture itself is basically, “Come On!” or “Come at me!” (‘koi yo!’) said in a confrontational way that comes off as creepy when Kobayashi P does it.

Rio was featured in a one-shot drama that aired last night called Love Riron (Love Theory) apparently about a convenience store manager giving dating advice to his  down-on-their-luck subordinates. Here’s the part of the show where Rio appears.

Is it a calendar?  Is it a solo music project?  Is it just some fine picture greeting in the New Year?

I think that's a calendar for 2014, the last kanji there, I think it means 'year', so.. yeah, quick assumption.

Kaho's new show?

Very fun show. Thanks for the links. The pillow fight with Rin Sakuragi was hilarious and Kasumi is very funny.

I believe it's a New Year Card. The title says (I think) "Kinga Shinnen" which means "Happy New Year". But I'd love to have a calendar of Haruka Ogura as she is one of my favorite members

OK I recently bought the Onemasu Obentou DVD set. I shouldn't be buying these things because they are very expensive but I loved the box's design. As illnerdism previously stated, it comes with three DVDs featuring best scenes of the show and some never seen before footage. For some reason, it also comes with a condom! :shocked Very fun stuff.

Anyways, Happy New Year everyone  :)2

Aw man, I'm so jealous.

On a related note, during the event commemorating the release of the box set, someone asked Kishi who she would have chosen for the position of 4th Muscats Leader.  Her answer: Kuriyama Mui  :twothumbs I would've liked to have seen it.

Also Rio seems to be racking up the TV appearances. She was recently on the show 'SemaSon'. The gist of it seems to be to pick songs for a playlist pertaining to a particularly narrow topic (hence the show's 'narrow' (semai) motif), along with discussion about each song, etc. The theme for this episode is "Playlist For When The Girl Sitting Next To You At A Drinking Party Has Her Hand On Your Knee And You Don't Know What To Do". The video is region-locked so you need Google Chrome and the Unblock Youku extension to view it.

A few things I took away from this - If you're ever in a car with Rio and she says, 'let's take the long way home', you can bet that she's into you. I remember her saying this same thing on OneMasu during the 'Onedari Nouveau' segment. There's also a maneuver that's demonstrated later in the show that she says she likes, which is to pull her close as if to hug her, but then turn her around and press her against the wall. Uh, OK. So yeah, good to know if you're ever traveling with her and she asks you to take the long way home ;) But don't expect to excite her by taking her coat for her at a restaurant, preparing her sushi dipping sauce, or saying that she looks like an old girlfriend.

Yeah, me too. I want that 'Onna no Hanamichi' set, but the price is killing me

I can't find much about EbiMasu's post activity, but I found this picture

I hope it's just a reality show, and not an AV, because I might want to watch it.

It's been a while for me to see Rin in action, and thanks to initial for the Kasumi TVDX link.  :thumbup

I'm pretty sure it's just a non-AV show.  From the looks of the screenshots used on the back of the DVD, they seem to be having way too much fun to engage in any AV activities.  If it was an AV video, you probably wouldn't have been able to post the DVD cover in the first place.

I was going through a Chinese-language EbiMasu forum (I can’t read Chinese at all, BTW), and clicked on a thread featuring some screenshots from the Bento set. I guess there’s a segment where members of the production staff discuss OneMasu over sukiyaki. I found this shot interesting:

That’s Maccoi Saito pointing to the address of OneMasu’s production company, ‘Road to Shangri-La’. At the bottom of the caption is ‘Subject: OneMasu Revival’  :shocked Not having actually seen the video, they appear to be gauging fan interest in bringing the show back. After the recent Bento Box release event, I noticed some fan chatter referring to the door possibly being open to some sort of revival of the group, but I don’t know if Maccoi is serious or if he’s just trolling the fans. Around the time that the Muscats dissolved, he apparently said something along the lines of never bringing them back because 'bands that split up and reunite again are so uncool.’ So who knows?

PhantomJin, did you get to see this part? Does it look like they're just joking around here?

Unfortunately I didn't see that segment. I have to say, I haven't watched the entire set yet since I've been very busy lately with my studies and work. I'm not sure if the segment was featured in one of the DVDs but I'll try to check it later.
As always, thank you very much for your info about the Muscats. :twothumbs I really want to see the girls being reunited again. Even if it is for only a little event. I want to see Mui as the leader too!
