sorry dude, can't take part in this discussion since I'm anti-48

Oddly enough I would have sent Yoshizawa Akiho to AKB48 Team A on a concurrency.
Speaking of Acky, how the hell did we miss her birthday a little under a week ago...

ah well
happy super belated birthday acky

hard to believe princess queen acky is thirty...

Akiho...hmmmmm...while not being a huge fan of her's, I gotta admit she is (arguably) the most beautiful Muscat. She is the master at 'cute' - I can't remember her ever being given out at Kawaii Koushien (although, I could be wrong about that).

She has the looks and personality to make the crossover to mainstream Japanese entertainment. I wonder if she wants to? Or will she be one of those AV stars that just retires and quietly disappears?

Happy Late birthday Queen Acky
Acky sure is a beautiful member. I also liked her song Gyakusou Idol.
Thanks for checking. It's probably nothing big (otherwise, I figure people would be making a bigger deal out of it if there was a serious chance of the group reuniting) but man I wish I could watch the video and confirm it myself :/
I know is a bit late but I managed to capture that video and uploaded it to my youtube account. Since the video lasts for so long (24 min) it had to be separated in three parts :(  Most likely, it will be notified and deleted but I hope you watch it before that happens  :) Of course any member is free to see it too! I hope the links work. i'm a complete noob when it comes to upload things....

Whoa, thanks! I really appreciate this.  :twothumbs

And I found this app, for android OS user
https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=AZURE%E3%83%BBPLUS%E6%A0%AA%E5%BC%8F%E4%BC%9A%E7%A4%BE
It took forever to look for the EbiMasu app, and still can't find it. In exchange, I found that. It has Ayako, Saemi, Airi Nagasaku and Konan's voice (I don't know the rest, maybe some girls from the same management house  :nervous).

And this one
Rio, some years ago

Wow, thanks for ripping and posting the video, PhantomJin :twothumbs

About the part in question, apparently the #1 question among the fans was, ‘Is there a possibility for an OneMasu comeback?” Maccoi spends most of the segment telling the viewers that the group is better off having disbanded when it did. He also mentions that probably about 1/8 of them are going to be in their thirties. But near the end, he says something like, ‘if a revival were to happen, it would be a one-time thing next year’ (as in this year). “If there’s a desire for it then … let’s try it”, which is where he points to the address of the production company for those interested.

I kind of expected it, but I’m still a little disappointed. When they used the word ‘OneMasu Revival’ (instead of ‘Muscats Revival’), I kind of inferred that there was a chance of bringing the show back. If it’s going to happen, it’ll mostly likely be a one-time ‘reunion’ type of event that probably none of us will have access to.

I also hoped the segment would have more fun behind-the-scenes stories, but they spend most of it fooling around. They get asked at one point which member they would date, but apparently none of them think of the Muscats in 'that' way. If the question is re-phrased as, “who would you recommend as woman”, Maccoi would choose the kind-hearted Yui, who he says will be a good mother some day. As for the other side, he would steer guys away from Kasumi Kaho, who he says is like a ‘horny stray dog’.

Damn...seems another Muscats TV series in pretty unlikely :(

I suppose it was a long shot.

I wonder if he's right about the end of the show being a good thing for most of the girls?
I suppose it did give some of them a chance to spread their wings a bit. Nagasaku's singing career, etc.

Just some random stuff…

Has anybody else noticed how different Sho Nishino looks in her debut DVD (2004) compared to how she looked in (for example) Onedari Muscats in 2011.

When Nishino looks good, she looks drop dead gorgeous!

I saw something on Youtube, that showed Ai Sayama in profile (with her hair up), and, hot damn, she’s a lot more beautiful than I’d realized.

Yuma Asami has such beautiful eyes, it’s such pity the only time we get a close-up of them is when she is crying.

They should clone Mihiro, and give every 14 year old boy in the world a Mihiro clone as their first girlfriend. This will do more for world peace than anything the UN has ever done.

Minori Hatsune’s rack should be listed as a UN World Heritage Site (and preserved in perpetuity). Hell, they ought to put it on a postage stamp!!! :P

If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I want to come back as the seat on Asami Ogawa’s bicycle. I will be a very happy bicycle seat. :)

Asami Ogawa’s legs are so long that when she lies down her ankles are in a different time zone than her hips.

Rina Rukawa’s ‘cuteness’ is so powerful it is registered with the Tokyo police as a deadly weapon.

I agree. I think Shou wears most make-up than the other members. I remember seeing her on some videos doing practice sessions with the other Purukawa girls and she looked like a completely different person.

Well, I'm already 33 years old but I'd love to have one of those clones for myself

Thanks for the translation. I'm disappointed as well. But I'd love to see the Muscats reunited back again at some event. I agree with Maccoi when he says that Yui would be a good mother. But I think Kasumi is a nice girl too...

By the way, March 17 was AiLi's birthday :twothumbs She's now 26 years old! Happy(late) birthday!

Yeah, I agree, PhantomJin. I thought Kasumi Kaho's 'lewd woman' thing was just her bit...like Ogawa's 'airhead' and Sora's 'Asian superstar'.

Pretty tough of him to say that about Kasumi

I hope he was just joking.

I get a bit POed when Rio does lewd stuff and gets a home-run, Kasumi does something similar and gets a pie in the face :smhid

I admit I would get a bit put off when the girls would go into their AV-mode on the show.  but that's their, what's the Yiddish word? Shtick.  their gimmick.

dang, I gotta come up with a new fun questionnaire about the Muscats.  it's been a long time since we all rocked that. :twothumbs :twothumbs :twothumbs
Happy birthday Airi!!!!!!!

Along with Yuma Asami, Ai Sayama and Hana Haruna!

Hey, initial, why don't we all put up a question?

How about this for starters:

Cage fighting. Put all the Muscats in a big cage match...who do you think will come out the winner?

My thoughts:

Well, you've someone like Ando with the technical knowledge.

Ogawa and Kasumi Risa with a height advantage.

Sayama and Haruna Hana with a weight advantage.

Minori with just a 'bitch slap' bad attitude.

Sora and Rio with a kind of street fighter cunning.

Nishino would 'trash talk' people and get knocked out fairly quickly.

Sakamoto is feisty but a little on the small side.

Rika Kawamura looks like she could handle herself.

Yuma: I've seen her get angry a couple of times. But, she's just too nice!

Haruka Ogura could bite people!

My money would be on either Ando or Kasumi Risa (tall and I bet she's got a real nasty temper). XD

^ My money's on Minori. Have you seen the way she can slap people around? It's not to be trifled with.

Guys, what happened to Risa Kasumi? From her twitter:

Yes that's her. Looks almost completely different. I'm guessing she lost a bit of weight as her face isn't quite as round anymore. Quite surprising really. It's not quite as bad as Asami Ogawa getting plastic surgery for her nose, but still, quite surprising.

My money goes to Mui. That rope of her seems to be a scary weapon in combat. And she looks strong despite her size.

Wow, she looks a bit like Rio now. I personally prefer the look she had during the DX era of the show.

Well.. I'll go for the kickboxer girl from ex-Black Muscats (I don't know her name). I remember her for beating Kobayashi P in one of BM era. Maybe she'll knock the cage down as well.
And Minori, just by slapping everyone, she'll be a winner
And maybe this girl has a chance too

Yes that's her. Looks almost completely different.
Whaaat? Is that her?  :O
Yeah, she looks a lot thinner than when she's in EbiMasu.

I'm with you, PhantomJin, I much prefer the Muscats era Kasumi Risa.

I'm not saying she doesn't look cute now, but liked her long hair (and a bit more meat on her bones).

Has Ogawa had a nose job? I'll have to check that out.
